The Royal Hospital Chelsea is seeking quotes for the purchase of an Electric Light Commercial Vehicle (eLCV) Category N1 Registered for the Road Right hand drive, 2 seat Vehicle with drop down tail, and PCV canopy sides. Similar to Goupil G3 (But with covered rear top and sides) The catering department use the vehicle daily to move rations from the main kitchen, where they are delivered, to the MTI kitchen. It is also used for transporting rations to the café from the main kitchen. Another major use of the vehicle comes when there are events in the State Apartments, Burton Court, Ranelagh Gardens, South Grounds etc. During summer the buggy is in constant use by catering throughout the day for events like concerts, cricket, BBQs, and State Apartment events. Service / maintenance options can be submitted as a separate quote from the purchase of the vehicle. It is not yet decided if we will proceed with a service option.
