Description

Basic Description of Service Functions: The Provider will deliver identification of Carers not known to services to ensure they are being offered support and tracking outcomes from support offered; provision of advice, information and guidance for Carers; completion of statutory Carers Assessments and production of Support Plans where these are required (utilising a range of digital, telephone and face-to-face support channels including online self-assessment) and facilitating the development of support networks for Carers across Cumberland. There are 3 lots. The contracts will commence on 1 October 2025 and will continue for periods of up to 2 years. There are potential extensions which will be described in the tender documents when advertised. The estimated total value of the Carers Support Service over the total contract period (including extensions and uplifts) is a maximum value of £4.337m but no guarantee is given as to the actual value of the contract. Full details of the tender requirements will be available in the ITT when it is advertised.
