This contract was awarded for the supply of Interferomatric Synthetic Aperture Radar (InSAR) technology providing the ability to detect ground movement in the Gateshead area (UK) from satellites. The provision and analysis of InSAR data provides a means of assessing ground stability within the Walker mine block during the Shearlegs Road scheme Project Term. The contract contains two parts: Historical archives requirements (Sentinel-1 Two Look Direction): A once-off baseline level data analysis obtainable from historical Sentinel-1 (S1) data collections for the AOI shown in Section 1. Ongoing monitoring requirements (TSX One Look Direction) TerraSAR-X satellite (TSX) high resolution data is to be collected in spotlight mode with 2m raw pixel spacing to deliver outputs with ~2.5-3m product pixel spacing.
