Description

Culture Matchmaking project - Providing consultancy services to conduct comprehensive research and embed systems, knowledge and skills so the City Corporation can engage more effectively and strategically with cultural sector organisations that may take up residence in the Square Mile, particularly through developer partnerships. This project will support the Destination City agenda and the delivery of public benefit within the planning system. The project scope comprises the following components: - establishing the criteria for identifying preferred cultural occupiers; - engaging with potential cultural occupiers; - creating a consistent methodology and curatorial framework for the City Corporation to determine what kinds of cultural occupiers it should be encouraging developers to secure; and - preparing a toolkit to provide guidance supporting officers and developers to make informed decisions.
