You are invited to submit a tender for the renewal of flat roofing coverings and external cladding works at Bedwas High School. The scope of the project is fully described in Appendix 1 but in summary the scope is:
• Replace complete flat roof covering over Gym, Block 185 and connecting corridor as per attached Sika specification, or equivalent approved.
• Allow for the removal and safe storage of all electrical services, CCTV, Power, signage etc., and refit upon completion of the works.
• Allow for the removal of the existing timber windows, existing cladding and removal from site.
• Supply and fit new 100x50 C16 timber grounds with uprights spaced at maximum 600mm centres Vertically and 450-600mm horizontally. Provide and fit 100mm thick Rockwool stone slab insulation board between timber members/grounds clipped at inner face to keep in a vertical position, breathable high performance waterproof membrane, 38mmx50mm vertical structural battens, spaced at maximum 400mm centres to create vertical airgap and Kestral 150mm white textured V-Joint PVC cladding boards in a horizontal finish, complete with all starter, jointer and end trims, plus insect mesh and UBINK lead free flashings etc., all installed as per manufacturers instructions.
• Provide all necessary fixed scaffolding with stair access. Do not block any entrance or emergency exits and make sure these areas are netted and protected for safe egress/entering by the users of the building, including any fan boarding over entrances/exists.
• Provide Heras fencing around bases of all fixed scaffolding to prevent unauthorised access
• All works must be carried out and be completed between 20th July and 30th August 2026
• Provide all necessary electrical certificates for all works carried out on the electric at this premises.
Community Centre Refurbishment Pre-Qualification Questionnaire - Woodlands Centre, Rustington
This PQQ covers the works to refurbish an existing Community Centre, at The Woodlands Centre, 34 Woodlands Avenue, Rustington, West Sussex BN16 3HB. Rustington Parish Council (RPC), will reconfigure the buildings and will be seeking tender submissions for the works;
The project comprises the refurbishment and extension of an existing community centre, including new kitchen, reconfiguration and refurbishment of existing WC's, new heating and ventilation system, and new finishes throughout. The scheme will be undertaken in phases whilst the building remains occupied. The scheme has a gross internal area of 350m2. The following drawings are included with this document;

The scope of the works will also include all associated infrastructure as well as minimal hard and soft landscaping.
The works will be tendered under a JCT Standard Build Contract 2024.

Rustington Parish Council is now seeking to appoint a main contractor to undertake the construction works on the aforementioned project.
The contracts will be procured under a single stage selected competitive JCT Standard Build Contract 2024 Without Quantities with suitable amendments. The following key criteria will apply;
