Details of Provision Required The goal of this tender is to obtain a suitable internet, network and telephony provision from a Service Provider that is fit to meet the needs of staff and tenants at the University of Wolverhampton Science Park (UoWSP) by way of offering like for like provisions delivered by our current provider (and single onsite/in-house network technician) while also improving on any provision areas that have seen market development since the start of the previous contract (2015). There will also be the potential that the sister site will also look to onboard the chosen solution dependant on its offering, The e-Innovation Centre (EIC) and Business & Technology Centre (BTC) in Telford is currently serviced by a simple dedicated Virgin Media line with self-managed network and telephony provisions managed by our two onsite/in-house network technicians. Project Aims and Objectives To secure a quality, reliable and cost-effective provision of internet and telephony services for both site operation and tenant needs to meet the demands of each site individually, with the potential to award a combined contract to provide economies of scale. Minimal downtime to be experienced in any swap over of service providers. The contract will be split into the Lots stated below, Tenderers can apply for Lot 1, Lot 2, or Lots 1 & 2 combined. However, the University reserves the right not to award a contract for Lot 2. Lot 1: Tenant Network & Telephony Services UoWSP. Lot 2: Tenant Network & Telephony Services EIC-BTC. Contract Duration The term of the Contract shall be for a period of three (3) years commencing March 2023 for UoWSP and commencing September 2023 for EIC BTC with an optional extension of up to an additional 24 months. It is expected that students will be selected by University selection panels and job description, duration of the contract and salary grading will be determined by the University. The Contractor must pay all Students and Graduates via their own payroll service. Tender route: Open Procedure - Light Touch Student OH Services for the University of Wolverhampton. The Student OH Service will include pre-enrolment screening, pre-placement review and immunisation service for new students and referral services and maintained immunisation service for ongoing students. Other services may be required, including but not limited to; mental health assessment, health surveillance and identification of support that can be offered. It is also a requirement that Students have access to their past records, including immunisation records once they have graduated. The University of Wolverhampton's overarching purpose is to deliver an excellent educational experience to all its undergraduates, post graduate and research degree students, along with those on professional courses. Within the University several courses offered have a Fitness to Train course entry stipulation and furthermore a requirement of immunisation evidencing e.g., Nursing, Paramedic and the faculty is required to evidence good health of its students of which placement activity contributes to their successful course completion. This Contract has recently been covered by an external Occupational Health Service Provider, the current Contractor has confirmed TUPE does not apply to this Contract. The successful Tenderer must evidence accreditation with Safe Effective Quality Occupational Health Service (SEQOHS), which promote a set of standards and a process of accreditation that aims to help to raise the overall standard of care provided by Occupational Health Services. The Service Provider must be able to demonstrate professionalism, flexibility and deliver services as described in Schedule 1 - The specification.
