TRP is seeking a provider to supply Retail EPOS hardware and software with integrated stock inventory and product management capabilities. System providers are permitted to use/manage a third party to supply and install any hardware requirements as outlined in the specification.
The Retail EPOS hardware and software will manage customer payments, stock inventory and product management for TRP's flagship retail shop in Hyde Park, London. This will be TRP's first retail shop. Anticipated sales revenue is provided in the Request for Quotation.
TRP initially require Retail EPOS hardware and software for its retail shop in Hyde Park that will launch in July 2023. EPOS hardware options and costs are also requested for a mobile shop that is planned for launch in Spring 2024.
Application program interfaces and/or webservices shall be available for the main functions within the EPOS software to enable integration with TRP's finance system. The EPOS software should include the capability to add new retail channels, manage multiple stock/inventory locations and should also include product management capabilities (such as full product barcode management and product reporting).
TRP requires the system provider to maintain/support the software and any associated hardware throughout the contract term. Where using a third party to supply/install hardware, the system provider must ensure that a support package is agreed and provided for the hardware.
TRP require the Retail EPOS hardware and software for the Hyde Park retail shop to be implemented, tested and available for use for staff training in June 2023. The system provider will be required to train TRP staff on the EPOS hardware and software provided. The Hyde Park retail shop will open to the public on the 4 July 2023. The system provider must have implemented and fully tested the EPOS hardware and software for launch in a live retail environment on the 4 July 2023.
TRP is seeking to appoint a system provider on an initial three-year contract term with the option to extend the contract for one year plus one further year. The Royal Parks (TRP) is seeking an experienced fit out contractor for its first retail store in Hyde Park, London.
TRP is inviting tenders for provision of retail fit out works. The scope of works is for the fit-out of an existing purpose-built retail unit within the Hyde Park Boathouse, Serpentine Road, Hyde Park, London W2 2UH. The total footprint for the retail fit out works is 83 sqm.
The retail fit out works comprise of:
-Demolitions;
-A joinery package consisting of retail display fixtures and cash desk modules;
-Signage and marketing equipment;
-Entrance barrier matting;
-Lighting, extension of power and data, audio and visual equipment;
-Retail operational equipment; and
-Back of house stock racking.
TRP is working with Rawls retail and design specialists (as Principal Designer),, on the detailed design, scope, delivery and requirements for the retail fit out works.
The successful Bidder will work closely with Rawls and TRP to deliver the retail fit out works.
TRP require the retail fit out works to be completed by Friday 9 June 2023. A key requirement of this tender is for Bidders to commit to the required completion date. Should any Bidder have any major concerns with the required completion date this should be raised during Clarifications.
All Bidders must visit the works site prior to submitting a tender. No claim will be accepted through failure of the Bidder to consider all site implications. The Royal Parks wishes to establish a four-year framework agreement for services to decompact soil beneath mature trees.
Soil decompaction services are required in order to improve the drainage, quality and rooting environment of soil surrounding the base of mature trees. Decompaction must minimise the damage to arboreal root systems.

The services of Brompton Cemetery are to be upgraded as part of works involved in rectifying drainage to the Landscape Maintenance Yard. After more than 20 years the current installations are reaching the end of its anticipated lifespan. This brief will form part of an open invitation to specialists in the design and manufacture of play equipment to develop costed proposals for the replacement of the existing structures. The supplier will provide a sustainable solution to the decommissioning and removal of the existing structures working with TRP for its post life recycling/ repurposing. TRP will not consider its reuse as play equipment. The resultant design proposal must be true to the Peter Pan story, demonstrate design excellence, and respond to the character of the playground and Kensington Gardens as a whole respecting the Royal Park setting .
The replacement features must be completed before the end of February 2025, however, TRP will be looking to complete the procurement as early as possible to allow maximum time for the design and build process and sign-off. (TRP intends to award WP1 by December 2023 subject to approval and a successful outcome) This is to ensure RIBA Stage 3 will be reached by April '24 to submit a planning application with sufficient time for determination before construction commences.
The proposed contract term for WP1 is a 15-month period for design, manufacture, and onsite installation, with an added 5-year maintenance contract. The maintenance contract would then be renewed on a 5-year ongoing contract subject to regulations.

The Heritage Brickwork Framework is to ensure the boundary walls, that form the curtilage to a number of The Royal Parks are important for its historical value, dating back to 1627 in some cases, as well as providing security for the wildlife and habitats found within, and also for acting as a boundary with neighbouring properties that align some of the Parks. The Royal Parks wish to appoint a landscape maintenance / grounds maintenance contractor to undertake the maintenance of The Regent's Park and Primrose Hill from June 2024 for a period of up to four years (27 months, plus two potential one year extension periods). The Royal Parks will purchase the majority of the vehicle fleet for this contract.
The parks cover 191 hectares and comprise numerous gardens and avenues, sports pitches, amenity grassland, water bodies, natural greens space and park drives. The Regent's Park hosts numerous events including major arts and food festivals. The Regent's Park and Primrose Hill are Grade I and Grade II listed landscapes respectively, they contain listed structures, they are also locally designated for nature conservation interest. Contract work is undertaken by a group of approximately 45 staff. A significant resource is required to ensure the park remains litter free and waste is managed as sustainably as possible.
