Thames Water (TW) are seeking a qualified vendor to provide a Water Treatment Work Digital Twin (WTW DT) solution that will enhance our organization's operational efficiency, streamline processes, and improve overall productivity. The selected vendor will be responsible for delivering a robust platform tailored to our specific needs. This RFP outlines the requirements and expectations for the proposed solution and a framework agreement to provide the solution, for multiple water treatment works. In this context, digital twins will act as virtual representations of key water treatment plants across Thames Water.

Thames Water (TW) are seeking a qualified vendor aiming to automate & optimise specific aspects of our Regional SCADA system. Currently, a considerable portion of TW operation relies on manual management by a control room. The primary objective is to conduct a Proof of Concept (POC) for either the Lower Hall B & Woodford hydraulic systems or the entire TW Ring Main. This will allow the control to be optimised, ensuring continued supply of wholesome water, whilst taking into consideration operating strategies to reduce leakage and energy use. It will also remove the risk of any human error.

Thames Water wants to appoint a panel of Companies that can provide Market Research & Customer insights services to Thames Water, these insights will be used by Thames Water to influence business decisions. Successful bidders will form an approved panel and will have the opportunity to complete a variety of works over the contract duration. Thames Water makes no commitment to the contract value as these will vary year on year, and most works will be awarded following mini-competitions amongst panel members.

Thames Water require highly specialised technical support in the Geotechnical Engineering discipline concerning impacts to our critical trunk sewers, water transfer tunnels and strategic water mains from the impact of third-party construction activities. Also, expert geotechnical advice and support regarding the analyses of ground movements caused by third-party subsurface construction activity, review of third-party tunnel analyses and design and effect of construction work on structural integrity all existing Thames Water tunnels (both bolted and unbolted construction) . The geotechnical engineering support will also include but may not necessarily be limited to the assessment on the impact of third-party activities adjacent to tunnels and expert advice on any proposed geotechnical/ structural safety issues that need to be addressed. Support for other engineering impact assessment on other structures may also be required. Overall, the service will involve providing robust engineering geotechnical assurance to the Business in the implementation of Capital Delivery projects, Developer Services projects. The scopes of services provided are: • Inspection of Thames Water Critical Assets such as tunnels and reservoirs for geotechnical engineering stability and recommending remedial action and preparation of the survey guidance procedures currently used across the network. • Review of complex geotechnical design proposals from developers, national infrastructure, and transport authorities on existing Thames Water assets. • Carrying out research and investigations programme to identify the causal mechanisms of potential critical assert such as tunnel failures (predictive failures) • Providing advice to TWUL Reservoir Safety and Asset Condition Manager after review of developer's proposals for works in the vicinity of tunnels, including risk mitigation measures • Reviewing and reporting on impacts to strategic sewers particularly those under surcharge risk which is now present in most areas of London (e.g., the recent failure of Low-Level No. 1 at Battersea). • Assisting TWUL during negotiations with Developers (Clients, Architects, Engineers and Contractors.) on complex projects and where appropriate advice on essential risk mitigation works. • Providing dispute avoidance advisory services to avert possible legal challenges by Developers and External Parties. •Support Developer Services, Capital Delivery and Tideway Tunnel Integration Teams in geotechnical Risk Assessment and preparation of required reports for project implementation.

Thames Water is seeking to award Framework Agreements to multiple providers for the provision of consultancy services, across 4 lots: Lot 1 - Strategy and operational model: regulatory advice, operational planning, long term strategy Lot 2 - Performance improvement: process reviews, change and transformation, customer experience and continuous improvement Lot 3 - Project management: end-to-end management of defined activities, training Lot 4 - Digital consultancy services: cost and service management The selected providers will be able to demonstrate how they support Thames Water, our strategic ambitions, projects and programmes. Bidders can apply for multiple lots and each lot will be awarded to multiple providers based on individual merits.

As part of our commitment to collecting unrecovered debt, we have redesigned our customer debt journey focusing on delivering "right customer, right treatment path" and ensuring our financially vulnerable customers are supported at all stages of the journey. We intend to outsource our unrecovered water debt, provided mainly on a commission basis with some specific customer outcomes chargeable on a fee structure. Both collect and trace solutions are required within various parts of the portfolio. Litigation and field services will also be required at the later stages of the process, where any unrecovered debts will be assessed and selected depending on their suitability. With the cost of living rising, we recognise the importance of collecting debt in a socially responsible manner and as result we are seeking partners who are committed in supporting our customers on this journey while helping Thames Water achieve our goals. We are offering a 3-year contract with the ability to extend up to an additional 2. Field service will be offered at an initial 1-year contract. After year 1 there's a potential for this to be brought inline with the with other contracts mimicking their contract terms.

Thames Water is looking to partner with a sole supplier in the delivery outsourced early collections. The successful supplier will be able to support Thames Water's dynamic resource model with the ability to flex staff up and down within the financial year, specifically in line with peak billing months. The contract is for both inbound and outbound collections and we require the supplier to be able to offer these services onshore. The key objective of this contract is to support our customers through their journey with Thames Water and we are looking to partner with a supplier who has customers at the heart of their values and objectives. We want and aim to collect any customer debt in a socially responsible manner and strive to ensure all customers receive quality engagement and offered sustainable outcomes. We are offering a 3 year initial term contract with the ability to extend up to an additional 2 years.

Thames Water, in partnership with the other UK water companies, are looking to develop an innovative 'no dig leak repair' technology to fix leaks on water mains without the need to dig a hole. Thames Water endeavour to engage an interested delivery partner(s) to develop their initial idea for submission to the Ofwat Innovation Fund. Contingent on the outcome of this project is the potential wider adoption of the technology in the UK water sector. Solving this problem will present the successful organisation with an opportunity solve a problem costing the UK and international water companies millions of pounds each year as well the cost, disruption and environmental impact of road works. The solution is expected to be an in-pipe device capable of live insertion and retrieval via standard fittings on drinking water networks, e.g. hydrants. The device would need to travel a distance through the water main, locate and characterise the failure, and effect a local repair - without the need to interrupt the supply.

Developer Services - The scope of service includes mains and service connections, network reinforcement and diversions and Major Projects works, these typically have a value of £3m. 2. TWUL would like to procure a framework agreement for the supply, metering and export of their Natural Gas portfolio. Thames Water are seeking a number of partners to maintain its slow sand filter beds and rapid gravity filters so they are efficient and effective through refurbishment services and good quality media. The selected bidders will be able to demonstrate how they would support Thames Water's customer service strategy and its outcomes. Bidders can apply for one or multiple lots. Ofwat has initiated a Strategic Water Resource Options (SRO) Programme to provide at least 1500 Ml/d of water to areas of England facing a water deficit. The SRO Programme includes multiple schemes which will be funded and assessed during AMP7 to determine the right portfolio of projects to be selected by Regional Plans ready for implementation in AMP8. Thames Water Utilities Limited (TW) is seeking to engage a Commercial and Financial Advisor (CFA) to support it in the development of several 'Strategic Resource Options', from Gate 3 (developed design, finalised feasibility, pre-planning, etc) through to construction. If during the course of this framework Thames Water identifies specialist needs and capability, Thames Water reserves the right to make a separate awards for these needs under this Framework.

The products will be suitable for use in clean water and waste water applications. Thames Water intends to award a Framework Agreement(s) for the provision of motor vehicles for our commercial fleet, which currently consists of c.2000 vehicles in total. The scope will cover all variations of Light Commercial Vehicles (LCVs) and 4x4s. The aim of the agreement is to source suppliers to cover our current fleet requirements for Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) vehicles, and to cover our upcoming transition to Electric/Alternative fuel vehicles, therefore playing an integral role in our strategic priority of becoming carbon net zero by 2030.

Thames Water Utilities Ltd (TWUL) is seeking to establish a contract for the delivery of Waste Network Services (Lot 6) which includes Rodent Control Services. The Rodent Control Service contract is primarily designed to assist Thames Water's customers with their rodent issues by attempting to ascertain any issues with the sewerage system. The Service Provider will use a combination of CCTV sewer inspections, baiting & other investigation techniques to the extent required to produce a full rodent investigation report to Thames Water on the findings and next steps.

The scope of this procurement is to award a framework agreement for a provider to manage and deliver our apprenticeship programs relating to Water Industry Standards.
