Five integrated service areas delivered across St Helens borough: Healthy Weight and Physical Activity (including Exercise Referral and HENRY family nutrition); Smoking Cessation; Mental Wellbeing and Suicide Prevention; Specialised Infant Feeding; and Oral Health (0-19 focus).
Scope (brief): Universal and targeted school age services delivering the Healthy Child Programme, including one to one support, early intervention, safeguarding, and support for children with illness or disability to improve health, wellbeing, and life chances.
We intend to commission services relating to St Helens Integrated Sexual Health Service under PSR - Most Suitable Provider
SRH services:
• clear, accessible, and up-to-date information, available in a range of formats, about services providing contraception, sexual and reproductive health services for the whole population, including preventative information targeted at those at highest risk of poor sexual health,
• increased uptake of effective methods of contraception, including rapid access to the full range of contraceptive methods (including LARC) for all age groups,
• a reduction in unplanned pregnancies (all ages), as evidenced by teenage conception and abortion rates,
• Timely access to psychosexual therapies where required/referred.
