Selwood Housing are seeking a single contractor for the supply and installation of uPVC windows to between 200 and 500 properties per year, as well as the supply and installation of uPVC and Composite external doors on an 'ad-hoc' basis. The above works will be to existing occupied properties and will include the removal and disposal of the existing windows / doors. Reference: SEL - 25 - 2223 Selwood Housing has identified a requirement to undertake Fire detection upgrades to LD2 standards throughout its stock to bring all installations in line with current legislation. Current installations may consist of battery only equipment, non-interlinked equipment, poorly located equipment, and a mix of systems. To address this Selwood Housing are seeking to appoint a single suitably qualified and experienced contractor to deliver a programme of fire detection upgrades. The contractor is expected to engage with the nominated manufacturers during the tender process. The successful contractor will be required to undertake site visits to design a system with input from nominated manufacturers. Contact details of each nominated manufacturer have been provided within the specification documentation. The contract will run for an initial 3-year period, with then an option to extend by a further 2 years subject to contractor performance. Selwood Housing require the successful Bidder to commence the contract and begin undertaking issued task work in July 2023. Selwood Housing has identified a requirement to undertake Bathroom installation works throughout its stock. To address a working installation programme Selwood Housing is seeking to appoint a single suitably qualified and experienced contractor to deliver a programme of bathroom installation and upgrades. A survey will be carried by Selwood housing to agree the layout of the new bathroom as agreed with the customer. Selwood Housing will provide materials as part of this contract. Selwood will provide the following materials for a refurbishment which will consist of the Bath and bath panel or tray and enclosure, WHB and pedestal L/L Toilet or C/C toilet, taps and wastes, electric shower unit or thermostatic mixer shower valve and tenant's choice of ceramic tiles and Vinyl sheet floor cut to size allowing 100mm waste for width and length. These will be delivered to the successful contractor's premises. All other materials to complete the refurbishment will be supplied by the contractor - i.e., all pipe, fittings, fixings, adhesives, silicon's, and all Sundry items to finish a full refurbishment all items to be to British standards.
