This Contract will provide services for the Maintenance of Boilers, Burners, Heating, Ancillary Equipment and Gas Infrastructure at 18 Sites.The SPS has a wide range of equipment which is utilised to provide a suitable living and working environment within SPS properties by providing heating and hot water.
The Scottish Prison Service (SPS) requires a supplier to provide a hosted and fully managed Body Worn Video Camera (BWVC) system to all public sector prison establishments in Scotland. The purpose of this Contract is to provide the SPS with a self-service core System (database, middleware, app/web server) for use within the prisoner's personal accommodation.
The System shall be hosted by the Supplier either on their own premises (‘vendor hosted’) using a replicated configuration across the Supplier’s data centres for resilience and disaster recovery, or on a third party cloud-based Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) platform. In all cases, the System shall be securely hosted and dedicated exclusively to the SPS’ use. The hosted solution shall provide a secure route from the users in-cell TVs which use a Raspberry Pi 4 device for connectivity and must be operatable for the full Contract. The Supplier shall, through testing, demonstrate that the System remains fully operational and continues to provide the complete range of Services in the event of the failure of any single system instance.
The Supplier shall be responsible for providing the System; building, testing and installing the raspberry pi devices and providing the on-going service, support and maintenance for the duration of the Contract Term. The Contract Term shall be 5 years from the last Establishment Go Live Date with the option to extend for any number of periods up to a maximum of 3 years.
The Scottish Prison Service (SPS) requires a Supplier to provide a fully managed Clerk of Works service for the development of construction projects including new build or refurbishment, specialist systems design and installation (e.g. CCTV installations, fire detection upgrading, etc.) and major maintenance (including services such as mechanical plant replacement). It is also anticipated that minor ad-hoc requirements will be delivered through the Contract.
The Purchaser requires high quality grounds maintenance across 3 Sites, HMP & YOI Stirling, HMP Glenochil and HMP Perth (Central Area). All works must reflect best horticultural practice, ensure consistently high presentation standards, and maintain safe, clean, and visually appealing grounds.
The purpose of this procurement exercise is to award a contract for the supply of retail goods to the Scottish Prison Service (SPS).
The SPS is an Agency of the Scottish Government Justice Department and currently operates sites across Scotland. In addition to the secure, operational establishments, the SPS also operates a college, a central store and an administrative headquarters building. The SPS’s secure, operational establishments provide a shopping facility for all prisoners, from which they are able to buy a range of goods. The intention of this Contract is to enable the supply and provision of a range of goods to any of the SPS’s sites. The SPS shall expect the supplier to offer the range of goods and associated services.

The SPS are seeking a supplier to provide additional capacity to the Scottish Prison Service by delivering: (1) Psychological Risk Assessments (PRAs) and (2) Risk Management Plans (RMPs) in line with Risk Management Authority (RMA) FRAME guidance and relevant RMA standards/guidelines, using suitably qualified/experienced (HCPC-registered) forensic/clinical psychologists.
Work will be mainly remote but must also support delivery across SPS sites, including via virtual platforms (e.g., MS Teams) for interviews and attendance at relevant boards/meetings, with collaboration across multi-agency partners.
