Platform Housing is looking for up to 3 Contractors to deliver 3,000+ EPC per annum. The intention is to award to 3 compliant Contractors based against our 3 geographical areas.
The following objectives have been set for this tender process:
- Continue to grow the total EPC compliance figure;
- Continue to build the knowledge regarding the energy efficiency of our stock;
- Provide updated EPCs where sustainability measures have been completed, helping to track the improvements resulting from various retrofit programmes;
- Deliver the EPC requirements within the Void process, requirements for a valid EPC against each property which becomes Void, to comply with our legal responsibilities around letting our properties.
This potential contract is for a minimum of 3 years with a potential extension year.
Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
Post a 2018/19 merger of 2 Midlands Housing Associations all finance activities were moved into one of the incumbent systems - Sun. This was only ever a short term solution whilst the full requirement sets were developed. We are now ready to tender for our new Core Finance System powered by Microsoft Dynamics. Urgent installation requirements across Platform Housing's stock holding areas. This requirement (Lot 4) covers kitchen and bathroom installation, that are not part of a planned delivery programme. These requirements may become due via a void, property inspection and/or compliant. Urgent pest control requirements across Platform Housing's stock holding areas. This requirement (Lot 6) covers both the reactive and planned pest control activities of the Group. Various numbers of Contractors are required, as stated within the ITT Document, plus various work areas are available to bid for, by region or by sub-region.

This requirement (Lot 5) has been split up into 2 lots: 5a Roofs Planned and 2b Roofs Reactive, subject to the area needs, as explained within the ITT Document. Various numbers of Contractors are required, as stated within the ITT Document, plus various work areas are available to bid for, by region or by sub-region.
Urgent maintenance requirements across Platform Housing's stock holding areas. This requirement (Lot 3) covers our needs for reactive windows and doors replacements, these may be one-off or part properties replacements or a small programme pepper potted across an area. Various numbers of Contractors are required, as stated within the ITT Document, plus various work areas are available to bid for, by region or by sub-region.
Urgent maintenance requirements across Platform Housing's stock holding areas. This requirement (Lot 2) has been split up into 2 lots: 2a Disrepair Claims/Mould Treatments and 2b Mould Cleans. Various numbers of Contractors are required, as stated within the ITT Document, plus various work areas are available to bid for, by region or by sub-region.
