PHOENIX ME LIMITED have been successful in securing Westgate MEPH Design & Build part of the Stage Two of the HS2 MWCC for the S1 and S2 sectors with SCS JV (Skanska Construction UK Limited, Costain Limited, STRABAG AG - UK Branch). Stage Two is the detailed design and construction phase of the project. PHOENIX ME LIMITED invites you to submit your tender for providing the Design, Supply, delivery & Commissioning of the Switch Panels, Panel-boards, Metering, PFC package including, Training, O&M's & IST, FAT, SAT & attendance as necessary, as detailed in the Sub-subcontract, in accordance with the Invitation to Tender Enquiry and the documentation appended therein. These works are expected to be delivered in Two Stages, whilst being administered using the NEC3: Engineering and Construction Contract (ECC). Works Stages: Stage One - Design and Preconstruction Activities Stage Two - Manufacturing, Installation and Testing & Commissioning (Including all handover Documentations).

The Sub-subcontractor shall provide a complete installation of the HV Commissioning Supply Transformer and housing, associated HV Circuit Breaker, LV Switchgear, PFC units and Cast Resin Busbar for the Westgate Vent Shaft Asset (Project). 11kVar HV Transformer & HV Switch The Sub-subcontractor shall supply, install, test & commission the 11kVar Commissioning Power Supply Transformer and associated HV Circuit Breaker generally as identified on the Commissioning Power Supply Schematic Drawing and within the MEP Particular Specification and Equipment Data Reports. The Transformer and HV Circuit Breaker shall be delivered to site in accordance with the programme requirements & positioned by a specialist plant movement company under the control of the Sub-subcontractor. PLC SYSTEMS The Sub-subcontractor shall Design, supply, test & commission the PLC system generally as identified on the LV Schematic Drawings and within the MEP Particular Specification and Equipment Data Reports. The PLC system shall be located within Switchboard SB-LV-A-01. It shall control the operation of the Incoming Supply and Busbar link ACB's to both Main Switchboards (SB-LV-A-01 & SB-LV-01-B) to ensure they can never be dual feed. PFC UNITS The Sub-subcontractor shall Design, supply, install, test & commission of the Power Factor Correction (PFC) units generally as identified on the LV Schematic Drawings and within the MEP Particular Specification and Equipment Data Reports The Power Factor Correction Units are remote units and are required for the following Switchboards, SB-LV-A-01 SB-LV-B-01 LV Switch panels The Sub-subcontractor shall Design, supply, install, test & commission the LV Switch panels generally as identified on the LV Schematic Drawings and within the MEP Particular Specification and Equipment Data Reports. There are 6 no. Switchboards, and they are as follows, SB-LV-A-01 SB-LV-B-01 SB-UPS-A-01 SB-UPSB-01 SB-MCC-X-01 SB-SLV-X-01 CAST-IN RESIN BUSBAR The Sub-subcontractor shall Design, supply, install, test & commission of the Cast Resin Busbar System as generally as identified on the LV Schematic Drawings and within the MEP Particular Specification and Equipment Data Reports The Cast Resin Busbar carries the Electrical supply from the Rail Services Transformers to their associated Main LV Switchboards. There is an interlinking Cast Resin Busbar between the Main LV Switch panels.

To undertakes the design, procurement, delivery, off-loading installation, testing, setting to work, commissioning, assurance, maintenance and handover of Westgate ventilation shaft lightning protection works as further described within this information To install a complete and compliant lightning protection installation in line with the project specifications including (but not limited to) the following: • Installation of earth tapes on the head house and connections to the earthing system as per the contract drawings and earthing schematics. • Installation of test pits and earthing rods as detailed in the design drawings. • Fixing of earth tapes and connections of tapes and cables as per design drawings • Connection to earthing networks / systems installed by others. • Any labelling required for tapes and cables • Testing of earth bars and cabling To undertake a lightning protection risk assessment in accordance with the requirements set out within BS EN 62305, the lighting protection risk assessment shall recognise the potentially high economic losses associated with the loss of the ventilation and intervention shaft or firefighting point. To use conductor tapes, running down the exterior of the building to separate earth rods, in preference to using structural steelwork where practicable to minimise the risk to sensitive equipment. To ensures that all cables running externally shall make as much use as practicable of natural shielding from fully bonded conducting materials. To assesses the lightning protection system for the incorporation of air termination networks on the roof and identify that best composition. To provide test joints for all down and earthing conductors and will be located in inspection pits adjacent to the above ground building foundations. To install surge protection devices for all cables passing through the lightning protection system and be class I type where cables enter and leave the building at roof level, conforming to IC 61643-12. To install a complete and compliant Public Health installation to the project specifications including (but not limited to) the following: • Design, Supply and installation of the two pump sets at Westgate, the Sump Pump (FSP-01) and Retention Tank Pump Set (RTP-01) • All pipework inside the sump and up to the header including all valves on the header, as shown in demarcation sketch. • 3D drawings to be produced for the inclusion in Phoenix BIM Model showing all devices and guide rails. • All pump guides inside sump or retention tank • Control panels for pumps • Control devices, both analogue and digital. • Commissioning of pumps with a full FAT and SAT • Wiring of control devices between device and control panel • All pumped drainage pipework shown on the 2D drawings from the pump to the header. • All support systems and fixings required to support the pipework in the sump and tank areas • All support systems and fixings required to support the pipework. Supports shall be installed to correct spacings or less, as determined by the pipework calculations. • All Unistrut, drops rods and other materials required to construct brackets and supports are required to be installed to the approved MCR. • Installation check sheets shall be completed by the sub-subcontractor. • Demonstration to Phoenix and client on how the pumps are removed for maintenance.

To procure, install, and commission a complete and compliant Fire Main system installation to the project specifications including (but not limited to) the following: Carry out flow rate calculations and thrust calculation to allow for the sizing of anchor brackets. Inform PME if any change of route is required. Liaise with the us on anchor sizes and location, small change to the model maybe required to allow installation of larger thrust brackets. Supply and Installation of schedule 40 heavy weight galvanised pipework shown on the 2D drawings for charged dry risers, breaching inlets, hydrants and to the landing valves and beyond onto the monitored isolation valve at the end of each run. This includes isolation valves, automatic air release valves and non-return valves. Supply and Installation of GRP 2000mm long earth separation sections of pipework. Supply of Stainless-steel puddle flanges to be buried in concrete. This will be free issued to the civils contractor to bury in the concrete. The sub-contractor will then connect to each end.
