Penzance Council are looking for a contractor for the supply of overhead lighting for the Festive Christmas Lighting display in Penzance for 2022:
Background:
The provision of the Christmas Lighting Display in Penzance is a very visible service which impacts residents, visitors, and businesses. The delivery requires bringing together many different people and organisations including lighting suppliers, High-level and electrical contractors as well as many residents and businesses in the community who support the scheme with the provision of power supplies for the suspended lighting.
Following completion of the previous contract, Penzance Council are carrying out a procurement process to select a suitably experienced contractor to facilitate the hire and supply the suspended Christmas Lights for Penzance for Christmas 2022.
The contractor / supplier will be able to demonstrate that they have delivered similar, successful contracts in the past and references will for part of the scoring criteria.
Wellfield's Car Park, Penlee Park, Penzance, TR18 4HE
Description of Works:
A retaining wall in Wellfield's Car Park requires dismantling and rebuilding to the provided specification. The boundary wall rebuild will also require the removal of a number of trees and treatment of the root system to prevent any regrowth affecting the new wall.
A section of the car park will be made available for work equipment, and welfare accommodation.
There are neighbouring properties within the vicinity of the work site and engagement will be required from the appointed contractor with each of the properties and businesses which may be affected by the work. Due to some of the properties being residential it is likely that the working week would be restricted to Mon - Fri 08:30 - 18:00 with consideration given to when and how noisy / disruptive work is undertaken.
The works required will include:
• Dismantling of the existing retaining wall
• Vegetation removal and earthwork
• Excavation
• Foundation work and wall rebuild to specification
• Repairing any affected car park spaces / surfaces and relining where required

• Timeframe - Submissions from contractors who can firmly commit to completing the work in a specific, realistic and timely manner will score highly
Cleaning Services Contract Public Conveniences on behalf of Penzance Town Council
The Council invites response to this Invitation to Tender (ITT) from suitably qualified suppliers ("Suppliers") for the provision of cleaning services to the Councils 7 public conveniences.
Key objective of the Tender is to appoint a competent supplier to provide high quality cleaning services to the Councils public convenience with provide a positive image of the area, both for local service users as well as visitors and tourists.
The current contract commenced in 2020.

CONCESSION Coach House Cafe Tender, Penlee House Gallery and Museum
The Council is seeking to appoint a Concessionaire to run a café facility at the Penlee House Gallery and Museum.
The appointed Supplier (aka the Concessionaire) would pay a commission-based licence fee, based on percentage gross income with minimum £20,000 annual payment to operate the Café.
The value of the fee will be determined through this tender exercise. A proposed commission structure is set out in the Headline Terms document.
