Wellfield's Car Park, Penlee Park, Penzance, TR18 4HE Description of Works: A retaining wall in Wellfield's Car Park requires dismantling and rebuilding to the provided specification. The boundary wall rebuild will also require the removal of a number of trees and treatment of the root system to prevent any regrowth affecting the new wall. A section of the car park will be made available for work equipment, and welfare accommodation. There are neighbouring properties within the vicinity of the work site and engagement will be required from the appointed contractor with each of the properties and businesses which may be affected by the work. Due to some of the properties being residential it is likely that the working week would be restricted to Mon - Fri 08:30 - 18:00 with consideration given to when and how noisy / disruptive work is undertaken. One will be price and the other will be the time required to complete the project. • Price - Detailed submissions with a full and complete price breakdown will score highly in this category. • Timeframe - Submissions from contractors who can firmly commit to completing the work in a specific, realistic and timely manner will score highly
