Patient and Staff Surveys - The purpose of this ITT is to seek to procure one service provider only, to be capable of delivering two services as detailed in the two specifications attached to this ITT (page 3). Submissions for each specification will be evaluated independently but the resultant scores will be aggregated onto one evaluation summary made up of the evaluation for each independent specification plus price for delivery of the whole ie both specifications. It is proposed that the duration of this agreement, which will be under NHS standard terms and conditions of contract for services ( NHS standard terms and conditions of contract ) and will be for an initial period of three years with one option to extend of 12 months. The budget available to deliver this tender is £63,000 for 12 months.

2. Scope NEASUS is looking for a supplier, or suppliers, of vehicle body repair services to its fleet of over 500 vehicles. The fleet comprises approximately: • 175 emergency ambulances (Mercedes Sprinter and FIAT Ducatos) • 213 Patient Transport Service vehicles (Renault Masters) • 85 Rapid response and blue-light cars (Volvo XC60s/Volvo XC90s/Skoda Kodiaqs/BMW GT2s) • 13 Hazardous area response vehicles (Mercedes Sprinters/ VW Transporters) • Ten 7.5tn trucks (Iveco Euro cabs with box bodies) • A range of ancillary vans and support vehicles (not more than 3.5tns) NEASUS require frequent accident damage repair services to be completed to a high standard and in a short timeframe. NEASUS would ideally like a supplier/ suppliers to undertake all services required , at their own workshop, however, if the service can be delivered to the required timescales via the supplier whilst involving any suitable subcontractors then this would be acceptable. In addition to this procurement, some of our vehicle convertors will be likely to subcontract with the successful suppliers for warranty repairs. NEASUS would ideally like a supplier/ suppliers to undertake all services required in-house, however, if the service can be delivered to the required timescales via the supplier and any suitable subcontractors then this would be acceptable as long as it is made clear in the method statement of this arrangement. A site survey may need to be carried out prior to installation to conduct a risk assessment and assess the current electrical layout of the property. The contractor will need to undertake an assessment of the existing building roof to determine suitability of the installation and recommend any structural changes, if required, as well as an assessment of the existing electrical installation with recommendations to ensure compatibility with the proposed solar PV installation. on behalf of the North East Ambulance Service , The Hazardous Area Response Team (HART). Within HART, we currently have six teams consisting of 47 staff in total. All operatives are required to undergo Extended Duration Breathing Apparatus (EDBA) mandatory re-certification 2 yearly and quarterly training in-line with our training information sheets (TIS) which will be provided. These courses will be taught during each team's training week during their 07:00 -1900 training day. The courses can be taught at another training venue of your choice due to the requirements and environmental factors required to achieve the said competencies.

North East Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (NEAS) are the Ambulance (Blue Light) Emergency Service for the North East of England. As one of 10 English NHS Ambulance Trusts, we work across the region to provide emergency ambulance care and patient transport services to over 2.7 million people. We also provide the regions 999 and NHS 111 non-emergency phone lines, provide medical cover at events, and deliver first aid training to businesses and communities in the North East. We operate from 60+ sites and cover almost 3,500 square miles, including the counties of Durham, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear, and the boroughs of Darlington, Hartlepool, Middlesbrough, Redcar, Cleveland and Stockton-on-Tees. We employ more than 3,000 people and respond to approx 400,000 emergency and urgent incidents each year. During periods of peak demand and maximum capacity, NEAS call upon third party provider partners to support our response to emergencies and patient transport requirements. Currently we have contracts in place with partner organisations until 31st March 2025, including regional taxi services which play an important role in transporting patients to and from appointments.
