Mole Valley District Council is inviting tenders for specified improvements and refurbishment works to Grove Road Public Car Park in Ashtead. The works are provisionally programmed for 4th October 2024 to 25th October 2024, the contractor is invited to submit a programme and drawings detailing how this can best be achieved. Grove Road Car Park is situated in Grove Road Ashtead, Surrey which is off Ashtead High Street and is one of two central car parks in Ashtead with busy times throughout the day. The car park is mainly short stay with some permit holders under the control of the Council There are several drains and gullies across the car park with most drainage from the car park going the Thames Water surface Water system. There is considerable Thames Water fllor relive systems for the Ashtead Basin area constructed under the north East corner of the car park. There is also a control cabinet owned by Thames Water and a Power Networks sun station. Please not the electrical cable route from the sub-station to the Thames Water control cabinet that is shown on the Thames water drawing but not shown on the services searches.
