The Football Foundation is establishing a supplier list for third parties. TThe Football Foundation will be providing grants to third parties to install a new catering unit at their site. The catering units need to include for the following; - Off-site construction - Delivery & installation to site - Steel construction/structure (cladding optional with various materials acceptable) - Be no less than 6m long by 2.4m wide by 2.4m high in dimension - Include for anti-vandal & security measures such as roller shutters over all openings - Be constructed of materials that comply with all relevant legislation - Be designed & constructed in line with Building Regulations - Include thermal insulation - Include high quality, easy clean floor covering - Include high quality internal wall/ceiling coverings - Include secure double glazing for any openings - Include sufficient space for a functional kitchen & serving counter (internal &/or external) - Include options for electrical, water & drainage connections as well as 'off-grid' - Ensure accessibility compliance - 10 year parts & labour warranty for the unit - Include option for solar kit - Include option for accessible WC incorporation - Ensure high quality paint finish externally - Include all relevant safety equipment & features (fire safety) - Able to be branded as required Suppliers should also highlight the range of professional services able to be included within their scope such as; - General Design - Planning applications - Engineering design - foundations - Engineering design - drainage & utilities - Utilities & groundworks contractors The Football Foundation's grants must be used by those third parties to award contracts to a supplier on the supplier list. Suppliers appointed to the supplier list to which this opportunity relates will therefore have the opportunity to bid for those contracts. This notice refers to the supplier list only - Football Foundation will NOT be awarding any contracts directly to suppliers on the supplier list. Contracts will cover the provision of the catering units. Contracts are expected to have a value in the region of £20,000 - £40,000 depending on the site location. However, all contracts will be subject to agreement and negotiation with the relevant third party contracting parties. Third parties which will award contracts may or may not be subject to the Public Contracts Regulations 2015, and will carry out their own procurements. The Football Foundation is establishing a preferred supplier list of goalpost providers for use by third parties. Grants will be provided to third parties to purchase goalposts, and all funded goalposts must be procured exclusively from the preferred supplier list. The purpose of this initiative is to ensure the safety and performance standards of football goalposts while maintaining compliance with the highest industry standards. Goalpost manufacturers/distributors will be required to meet the following criteria in order to be considered as a preferred supplier: • Hold ISO 9001 certification (or in process of certification). • Ensure all goalposts conform to the latest versions of BSEN748 or BSEN16579, as applicable. • Provide evidence that each type of goalpost is certified by a UKAS-accredited laboratory specialising in goalposts, in line with UKAS ISO 17025 procedures. The Football Foundation will not accept any testing from other sources The Football Foundation's grants must be used by those third parties to award contracts to a supplier on the supplier list. Suppliers appointed to the supplier list to which this opportunity relates will therefore have the opportunity to bid for those contracts.
