This is quote request for the replacement of the existing boilers to the Front Block at the College of West Anglia,Kings Lynn Campus. The Contractor is required to provide a price for TWO options.
Option A is a new heating system that has not been designed at all. It will be the Appointed Contractor who will undertake the design, and then installation of the new system. The system will use Air Source Heat Pumps as the form of heating, to heat the existing thermal distribution of the entire front block.
Option B is a new heating system that has been partially designed by the specialists assisting the Employer, and in this instance the Appointed Contractor will undertake the design of distribution and controls within the plant room only, and add relevant plant to the components listed in order to ensure a fully functional design.
The College is looking forward to receive your most competitive lump sum fixed price tenders for the design, supply and installation of the contract works including all preliminaries, labour, plant and materials necessary to execute and complete the works, subject to the College's terms and conditions.
The College of West Anglia is tendering to Subcontract the following provisions using 4 Lots. Total value of contracts will be up to
Lot 1 - (One Year Contract) - Non Devolved Adult Education - Norfolk Area with Gross total value of contract of £597,000
Lot 2 - (One Year Contract) - Non Devolved Adult Education - Cambridgeshire Area with Gross total value of contract of £40,000
Lot 3 - (One Year Contract) - 16-18 Provision - Norfolk Area with Gross total value of contract of £537,000
Lot 4 - (Aligned to IFATE duration) - Apprenticeship - National with Gross total value of contract of £675,000

The College is looking to replace the existing natural gas boilers in one of its buildings at the King's Lynn site.
The successful tenderer will manage and oversees the entire project, including but not limited to; a full detailed design for the whole system, supply and installation of new boiler, flue system, plate heat exchanger, pressurisation system, pipework modifications, dosing of system, adaptation and updating of the Building Management Systems, insulation of pipework, builders work and commissioning, in line with the new boiler installation.
The successful tenderer will be the Principal Designer and Principal Contractor as defined by the CDM regulations. They will be expected to progress with the College's feasibility study (overall design brief) and implement all works to a successful conclusion.

Daily Shuttlebus (Waterbeach - Milton) - Cambridgeshire Area Only Please
Term time only (180 days per annum) September 24 to July 26. Please quote for 2 years.
We require transport morning and afternoon to collect students please.
Only for suppliers in the Cambridgeshire are please.
The coach is required to collect from Waterbeach Train Station (CB25 9HT) at 08.30 to depart for 08.35 and take to Milton Campus (CB24 6DB) in the morning and then departing from Milton Campus at 16.25 to drop off at Waterbeach Train Station in the afternoon.
These are the current timings so should hopefully be the same in September. At the moment the bus stop is used at
the Waterbeach Village Green for collection and drop off.
Student numbers vary so please quote for your largest coach.
