Call off and award under the Manchester City Council Small Works Framework. Works comprising:
• Collingham House internal room reconfiguration and building refurbishment.
• Occupational Health Unit building conversion and new build extension to create a stores function facility.
• Headquarters Reception single use toilet conversion.
• Other general building refurbishment requirements
While the PCSA fee was being collated, design elements proceeded under a Letter of Intent issued in December 2025; the PCSA was agreed and signed March 2026. PCSA fee of £260,520.65 covers scope of work outlined above. The value of the contract to include build stages will be higher and circa £1m. Fire Houses Refurbishment Programme - CPA/SPU/2743F - (Lot 9 Fusion21 Framework) - AWARD
Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service owns a portfolio of 56 residential houses, at 6 different locations across Cheshire. The properties have been the subject of a programme of refurbishment work to bring them up to required standards under Contract CPA/SPU/1267F over the last 5 years, with that contract period ending March 2025. The contract was established under the Fusion21 framework of the time. This work has included Roofs, Insulation, Kitchens, Bathrooms, Adaptions and External works ie driveways, paths, fencing, guttering. Properties will be occupied during any works instructed. Some refurbishment works remain required across the portfolio and this relates mainly to Kitchens and Bathrooms. A new contract under the Fusion 21 Framework for Building Improvements Lot 9 is being established While the works identified for Financial Years 2025-2026 and 2026-2027 are Kitchens and Bathrooms which are covered by Lot 1; flexibility is required for any other works which may fall under Lots 2/3/4/5/6/7/8 which are identified as required either during the period ending 31/3/2027 or during the optional extension periods; hence the use of Lot 9. The contract award for an initial period ending 31/3/2027 with options to extend for a further 36 months in increments of not less than 6 months, for any future works. The budget identified for the initial period of works 2025-2026 and 2026-2027 is £250k per annum. The budget availability for the optional extension period/s is unknown at this stage.
This contract is awarded under Lot 9 of Fusion21's Building Improvement Framework 2024-2028 using a JCT MTC form of contract.

This is a contract award for the Servicing and Maintenance of Lifts across the CFRS estate. This Direct Award is in accordance with Fusion 21's Lift Framework 2024-2028 Lot 1 - Passenger /Goods Lifts Servicing and Maintenance. The contract value is estimated as there is an element of reactive works, these works will be carried out in line with daywork rates contained within the Pricing Schedule and Schedule of Rates.
