This notice refers to the Estates Projects Framework (Main Contractors). Cardiff University is looking to establish multiple Contractors Frameworks covering Projects and Minor Works. These will be multi Lot, multiple supplier frameworks for both Estates Projects and ‘Estates Minor Works. The aim of this Procurement is to establish a Framework of pre-qualified suitably experienced Contractors, which will enable the University to call off works activities on an 'as required' basis. The Framework will be used to deliver both Residential and Academic refurbishment projects/programmes. The works may include refurbishment, Fire Strategy improvements and maintenance programmes. Cardiff University is currently exploring the acquisition of a Portable Human MRI System. Our comprehensive market research indicates that there is only one supplier available for this specific technology. In light of this, we are issuing this Prior Information Notice (PIN) to invite expressions of interest from any suppliers who believe they can also meet our requirements. Cardiff University is looking to establish multiple Contractors Frameworks covering Projects and Minor Works. The University has a diverse property portfolio ranging in age with a mixture of in-house and external contractors currently undertaking reactive and minor works maintenance activities across the Fabric, Mechanical & Electrical trade disciplines. The University is looking to rationalise the workload by setting up a Minor Works Framework to supplement their in-house team to undertake this work. Cardiff University require video production activities support across the organisation. The aim is to onboard a diverse range of suppliers, from established agencies and video production specialists to smaller scale production companies, to cater for the needs of our stakeholders and their changeable budgetary scale, timescale and creative requirements. Suppliers will need the ability to direct, produce and edit content aimed at a wide range of audiences such as students, internal communications and industry partners, for use across multiple platforms. The Contracts on award shall be Framework Term contracts for an initial period of Two (2) years with an option to extend for two (2) separate periods of 12 months each. That is potential of four (4) years in total.
