In 2022-25, we're looking to work with a supplier that will help us further improve on the work that has so far been completed, by focusing on a selection of mini projects.
In addition to significant dev work, we anticipate having the ability to make small changes where necessary, and receive ongoing support.
We will work with the supplier to firstly identify specific areas of improvement and to assess where previous development work can be optimised - this should be done through a combination of qualitative and quantitative work.
We also require, as part of the contract, an agreement that covers hosting, security, maintenance and ongoing support.
The length of the contract is for three years, with one-year and two-year break clauses. For first 12 months of work, bids should be in the range of £24,000 to £27,000 excl VAT.
The services offered should be in the form of the agency's guaranteed time for at least three days a month used to support Ageing Better, covering PPC, SEO and other ad-hoc support with Analytics, social media and email marketing. This will be agreed between Ageing Better and the supplier on a regular basis through weekly catch-ups.
Work on PPC will include reviewing and optimising our Google Ads account. The supplier will manage the account on behalf of Ageing Better in order to create and maintain targeted campaigns, including developing ad copy and targeting keywords, ensuring high levels of relevant clicks.
It will be the supplier's responsibility to manage Ageing Better's Ad Grants account and ensure that it performs to high standards and remains active, conforming with all of the Grant's policies.
The supplier should play a key part in optimising our SEO strategy, producing audits and providing ongoing reporting, as well as assisting with keyword and gap analyses.
We would also require support with our email marketing on an ad-hoc basis, including campaign reporting/analysis and ensuring our mailing list and campaigns are optimised.
The length of the contract is for three years, with one-year and two-year break clauses. For the first 12 months of work, bids should be in the range of £23,000 to £25,000 excl VAT.
The deadline for tender submissions is 4pm Friday 25 March.
Following the Good Home Inquiry, we want to test out how to develop and deliver a Good Home Agency in practice, and through this process expand the detail and guidance on what one looks like, and the steps involved. We are partnering with Lincolnshire County Council to do this.
We're looking for a contractor to drive forward the design, development and testing of the Good Home Agency. The contractor will provide design leadership to a small team, to deliver user-centred service approaches based on insight and evidence. We are looking for an experienced designer who can lead and mentor others who are new to design approaches.
We have previously commissioned some initial discovery work exploring the local context and priority issues to address. We also have carried out significant research work previously as part of our Good Home Inquiry. We expect the successful bidder to build upon this existing insight and use this to accelerate a move to design and development work.
This contract is for 11 months commencing 9 May 2022 and ending no later than the 7 April 2023. The design work and final model must be produced by the start of March 2023 to feed into budget and business planning timescales. We are proposing an additional month after this to allow for any final wrap-up and handover time.
The deadline for tender submissions is Sunday 17 April at 5pm.
Ageing Better is planning to commit significant resource to fight against the widespread use of derogatory and harmful stereotypes in the pursuit of a more positive and realistic understanding about later life across the country.
For this Invitation to Tender we are looking to commission research to provide us with a foundational understanding of how ageism manifests and impacts older people. This project will inform a future large scale, multi-year, national campaign to shift public attitudes and behaviours towards ageing and older people.
We are looking to commission research to support audience identification, insight, segmentation and potential messaging to inform a future national, public-facing campaign to stamp out ageism.
We would expect this work to be completed within six months. Where this isn't possible, we would expect bidders to detail this and propose suggestions for how the timeline could be kept to six months.
The contract value is between £78,000 (excl. VAT) and £83,000 (excl. VAT). Please include a detailed breakdown of each element or activity cost, day rates and activities by team member in your written return.
The deadline for bid submissions is 5pm 5 August.
Our age-positive image library is currently entirely hosted and exists on the Digital Asset Management (DAM) system, ResourceSpace.
Our ambition is to fully integrate the image library with the existing Ageing Better website, moving away from using ResourceSpace for public access. This will hopefully ensure more control over the image library and its functionality, an enhanced user experience, and more integration between the image library, the Ageing Better brand and other content that sits on the Ageing Better site.
This project will require back-end and front-end web development work, to add DAM capabilities to the existing Ageing Better Drupal 9.3 website. While the library should be integrated with the Ageing Better website from a front-end perspective, and made clear that this product is part of the website, it will likely exist as a sub-section of the site, with its own navigation and page templates.
We expect the project to be completed within three months of commencement. Bids should not exceed £30,000 excl VAT, for custom development and integration of Drupal or 3rd party features. The deadline for tender submissions is 4pm 25th August.
