Advantage South West - Fire Risk Assessments Framework
The appointed contractor is to carry out a fire risk assessment in accordance with this specification using The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 and all other associated British Standards and Approved code of Practice and Guidance as guidance.
To ensure compliance with the Client’s aims and objectives it is a requirement that all owned and managed premises that have communal areas, offices, shops etc will have an assessment of risk undertaken to ensure compliance with health and safety legislation.
External surfaces and components of building walls are covered to the extent detailed in the FIA Guidance Note “Guidance on the Issue of Cladding and External Wall Construction in Fire Risk
Assessments for Multi-Occupied Residential Premises” Version 1 May 2020 (copy provided with this ITT).
Request for Information - Domestic Property Monitoring
ASW Members are working together to identify the options for products, technologies and services that will allow them to monitor the performance of decarbonisation measures installed in domestic properties.
The domestic properties may be general needs (eg 3 bed semi detached, 2 bed terraced, bungalows, flats) and also supported housing. Properties may be grouped together in a street, or may be on their own amongst non-social housing. Solutions will need to work across the area covered by our Members which often has limited mobile telephone coverage.
We are interested in finding out about products on the market that would allow Members to remotely monitor for example:
- the heating & hot water energy usage within a property
- relative humidity, mould, condensation
- internal temperature (including highlighting over- and under-heating)
- heating system settings - potentially adjusting settings remotely
- radon levels
Monitoring should be centrally available (subject to resident data permissions) for the landlord to view on a dashboard for all their properties.
