Summary of Requirements (Lot One) The awarded vendor(s) will be able to provide to the following specification: Virtual Fence Area Collars for Cattle A solar-powered GPS collar that is used on cattle for large areas of land where fencing is not used. The collar must be adjustable for the size of the neck of the animal. It must work alongside an app that can be used on a phone or tablet to set the boundaries of the desired field area. A report must be able to be obtained to show animals pushing the limits of the fenced area. Fixed yearly fee for subscription per collar (this is for software updates that are done remotely using the 2G network. We are initially looking for this requirement for 100 collars in total (50 to be delivered to 2 farms within the UK). Summary of Requirements (Lot Two) Mobile Sheep Handlers A manual clamp style sheep handler for efficiently weighing, dagging, drenching, dosing, pour on application, tagging, blood sampling and the checking of Mouths & Undercarriage. It must have loadbars & an Autodrafter for 3 way drafting, fitted which are compatible with our current Trutest XR5000 and XRP2 Sheep Panel Reader. It must be fitted with or fitted to a road legal un-braked trailer with a capacity of up to 15 6ft Aluminium Sheep hurdles, stored on or alongside the lead-up race using ratchet straps or fixings to attach them for transport. We are initially looking for 2 complete units for this requirement. Supplementary notes in the ITT document apply to both Lots The equipment must ideally arrive at the facility by the end of October 2022. The scope of this requirement can also include future delivery, training, familiarisation, installation and disposal of any of the above or future related or bespoke items. AEC is seeking a solution re an artificial intelligence platform re weed detection and control. The use of a high-resolution camera system to selectively apply fungicides and fertilizers based on real-time observations as the sprayer cross the field. The system is to detect a weed at three to five metres in front of the boom, currently in some cases, the cameras may see a weed, but it will be too small for the algorithm to confidently commit to calling it a weed.
