Lot 1: Maintenance of Environmental Monitoring System Lot 2: Purchase of New & Upgrade to Existing Environmental Monitoring System
NHS Blood and Transplant (NHSBT) seeks to award a framework agreement for the maintenance, support and calibration of existing Environmental Monitoring Systems (EMS) deployed across various sites. The EMS infrastructure is critical to ensuring the safe, compliant and continuous monitoring of controlled environments, equipment and storage facilities across NHSBT sites, including laboratories, cleanrooms, blood centres, storage facilities and specialist processing areas. These systems monitor a wide range of environmental and operational parameters, including but not limited to temperature, humidity, differential pressure, particle counts, oxygen and carbon dioxide levels, and equipment status. EMS installations vary in scale and complexity, ranging from approximately 50 to over 1,000 monitoring points per site, requiring a robust, scalable and resilient maintenance service capable of supporting large, distributed infrastructures.
