Beechlydene is an acute in-patient ward with 21 beds providing specialist care to male and female adults experiencing acute and severe mental illness. Ashdown Unit is a Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) with 6 beds that provides specialist care to male adults. Both Beechlydene and Ashdown are located within the same building at AWP’s Fountain Way site. The Project will deliver new ‘best in class’ and fully compliant Extra Care Areas including De-escalation areas and Seclusion suites.
