The Department for Education intend to invite suppliers who have qualified on to the Skills Bootcamps Dynamic Purchasing System to a call off competition late June / early July 2023 for services to begin around February 2024. (These dates are indicative and may be subject to change.) To enable the above, DfE would like to invite interested organisations to apply for a place on the DPS so they can bid for the call off competition(s) for any of the categories below. We strongly advise suppliers to submit an application by 5th June 2023. Applications may take up to 30 days to process but where possible, the DfE will endeavour to process them in advance of the call-of competition. The DPS will remain open to applications after this date. The skills categories for call off will be as follows: - Digital - Sales, Marketing & Procurement - Construction and the Built Environment - Engineering and Manufacturing - Business and Administration (for project management roles that would support the categories above) - Transport and Logistics (for HGV driving and Transport Managers) - Education and Early Years (for Early Years Educators) - Creative & Design (for screen, live and video game production skills) DPS Selection Questionnaire - Q&A session We will be holding a Q&A session for suppliers who have questions about the DPS Selection Questionnaire (SQ) process on Thursday 25th May 2023, and you can register via the following link: https://events.teams.microsoft.com/event/cb0c1ef6-0035-449a-b686-af31d861b5ea@fad277c9-c60a-4da1-b5f3-b3b8b34a82f9 We also ran an event on 3rd April 2023 which talked through the SQ process. This session will be an opportunity for new suppliers who have submitted an SQ application and are interested in bidding to deliver Skills Bootcamps, including those interested in submitting a bid in Early Years or Creative & design. This session will help you gain further understanding of the Skills Bootcamp model, as well as what this could look like in the new sectors being introduced (Creative Industries and Early Years) and there will be the opportunity for questions. Additional information: Important information Tentative Call off competition tender publication date is 29th June 2023. Applications to the DPS may take up to 30 working days to process. Only suppliers who have successfully applied and qualified onto the DPS can compete in call off competitions. DfE recently ran market engagement events to test possible requirements with the market - suppliers can access the slides on Jaggaer under Project_7693. DfE also ran a session on the SQ process - suppliers can access the recording on Jaggaer under the same Project_7693.
