Expression of interest

Description

Mere Town Council Expression of interest to provide Streetlighting design and installation. Background Mere Town Council is making improvements to two footpaths in Mere, numbers 50 and 66. As well as making improvements to the current tarmac surface, it is the wish of the Town Council to install lighting along the paths. We have explored various options and given the nature of the paths consider a solar installation may be difficult to achieve. Work to install the infrastructure for the lighting will need to take place during the contract to upgrade the paths. What we require Mere Town Council wish to appoint professionals who can provide and end to end service, from design to installation. To include:  A feasibility study that can assess the most suitable type of lighting to be installed on both paths.  A design for the proposed solution. This should also include the number of lighting installations needed.  Installation of suitable infrastructure for the proposed design solution that can be installed during the main contract works.  Installation of streetlighting to the specification. Expressions of interest should include your ability to deliver in all aspects of the tender opportunity, and confirm the company's ability to carry out the works during the works to upgrade the footpaths.
