Tree Maintenance Service

Description

It is intended the service for tree maintenance will be procured this year with a contract go-live summer/autumn 2023. The Council is considering a 5 year contract with a 2 year extension option. There are approximately 20,000 street trees, an additional 3,000 trees on Housing land and over 250,000 trees in our parks and open spaces. This contract is to ensure that these trees are safe and are managed and maintained to a high standard. The Councils vision is for a Borough that is clean, safe and where residents are proud to live. This contract will ensure our trees are looked after for future generations to enjoy. We anticipiate the opportunity will be published early February 2023 through the Council's new e-Tendering System called Oracle Fusion. The tendering exercise will be undertaken using the electronic tendering system 'Oracle Fusion' (https://elfy.fa.em3.oraclecloud.com/fscmUI/faces/PrcPosRegisterSupplier?prcBuId=300 000002366037). Suppliers will need to register on the system in order to express their interest in the tender and participate in the competitive exercise. Please note registration is free.
