Grounds Maintenance Contract - Expressions of Interest Invited

Description

Horley Town Council is inviting expressions of interest to tender for its grounds maintenance contract for a period of 3 years, plus an option for 2 additional years, commencing 1 January 2024. A brief description of the scope of the contract and maps are available from the links below. The contract includes Grass Cutting, Hedge Cutting, Football Pitch Preparation, Litter & Dog Faeces Collection, Minor Tree Works, Drains & Ditches, Tennis Courts & Hard Surfaces, Shrub Beds & Borders. This is a 2-stage process. In this first stage, interested suppliers will be asked to fill out the attached Pre-Qualification Questionnaire for return by 31 July 2023 from which a short-list will be drawn up. In the second stage, the shortlisted suppliers will be invited to respond to an invitation to tender (ITT) which will include full specifications. The tenders are then evaluated and the contract awarded to the successful tenderer. The Invitation to Tender exercise is anticipated to commence in August 2023. The expected timetable is as follows: Pre-Qualification Questionnaire (PQQ) available June 2023 Closing date to express interest and submit PQQ: 31 July 2023 Short listed companies to be sent Invitation to Tender (ITT) 21 Aug 2023. Closing date to receive sealed bids: 22 Sep 2023. Contract expected to be awarded during Oct 2023. Contract start date: 1 Jan 2024
