Following questions from prospective tenderers, Corsham Town Council would like to provide clarification on the following: Timescales. We would hope to complete the work, i.e. get to the end of RIBA Stage 2 within 6 months of the appointment. Cost Plan. We would expect this to be produced by a quantity surveyor. If you do not have a RICS quantity surveyor in-house, then Corsham Town Council would expect to appoint one (advised by the architect) to carry out this element of work. Please clearly set out how you would propose to deliver this in your submission. Pre-application advice. Corsham Town Council would expect to pay Wiltshire Council's fee for this service. Architectural and Principal Designer Services. We are expecting quotes for RIBA Stages 0-2 to be in the region of £50,000 plus VAT. We expect the entire project, including construction, to cost around £500,000. The Condition Surveys for Arnold House and the Guide Hut carried out in 2022 have now been attached to the notice.

Corsham Town Council wishes to appoint an experienced architectural practice to undertake some initial development/feasibility work (RIBA Stages 0-2) to improve the Council's grounds team facilities in Corsham town centre. The Town Council wants to refurbish and improve the grounds team's workshop, expand and improve the works yard, construct new storage facilities in the yard and provide new welfare facilities and office space at the rear of Arnold House, Corsham.
