Innovate UK intends to procure Delivery Partner services for the UKRI Venture Builder Programme, a new pilot initiative to support deep-tech university spin-out teams in 6 of the priority Industrial Strategy sectors (the IS6 sectors), initially focusing on Frontier AI, Engineering Biology, and Advanced Manufacturing and Materials. The Programme will provide intensive venture-development support over six to nine months to around 20–25 post-ICURe, or equivalent-stage, teams that have completed customer discovery. Its purpose is to convert validated academic research spin-outs into investor-ready companies and position them to progress into Innovate UK IS6 growth sector programmes. The procurement is initially structured around the three sector tracks above; however, the strategy and delivery model are still being established. It has not yet been determined whether the outcome will be separate contracts for each sector or a single contract covering all sectors. Consortium arrangements are welcomed where different organisations bring complementary capabilities across tracks or sub-sectors. Social Care Wales is looking for two experienced, independent suppliers to help shape and test a new programme designed to build positive, relationship centred cultures in adult social care across Wales. The programme aims to “help care providers nurture, measure and sustain positive, relationship centred cultures.” This work is funded through the Rayne Foundation’s Better Carers Better Careers initiative and will run across multiple years. The programme is split into two lots, each with a distinct focus but designed to work closely together. The contract will be divided into the following Lots, and Social Care Wales intends to appoint one provider per Lot. Suppliers may bid for one or both Lots; however, a Supplier awarded one Lot will not be eligible to be awarded the other. Lot 1 – Codesigning and Testing New Leadership Support and a Self-Assessment Tool This supplier will: - Recruit six adult social care providers to act as pilot sites. - Run co design workshops with leaders, managers, frontline workers and stakeholders. - Develop a Theory of Change and work with the supplier leading the evaluation to shape the evaluation approach. - Collect and support high-quality data throughout the programme. - Carry out baseline, midpoint and final culture assessments at each site. - Provide tailored support such as coaching or team learning. - Produce: ~ A Service Design Report explaining what was created, how it was tested and what was learned. ~ A Tool Design and Testing Report for a new bilingual digital/printable self assessment tool. Scope: The requirements for the system have been provisionally assessed and this RFI has been produced to assess the feasibility of the market being able to provide equipment as either a Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) or Modified Off The Shelf (MOTS) solution which can be operated/maintained/replaced within the confines of the proposed facility. The proposed facility is a suite of alpha-active total engineered containment boxes (gloveboxes). The equipment will be placed in one of these. It will have an inert atmosphere and operate at ambient temperature (15-23 °C). Once commissioned the only routine access to the equipment will be through a circular 12” port. Interaction with the equipment will be through fixed position ambidextrous gloves (see Figure 1 for an indicative image of the facility).

It supports the commissioning of services that influence the wider determinants of health - the social and environmental factors that affect people’s wellbeing, such as housing, employment, education, community support and access to services. The framework enables NHS organisations, Integrated Care Boards, local authorities and other public sector partners to identify organisations delivering these services and procure them in a fair and transparent way. Rather than running a full procurement process each time a service is required, public bodies can use the framework to access organisations that have already been assessed and approved. West Yorkshire Police (WYP) have their own Transport Department which undertakes servicing and repairs to police vehicles including replacing worn and punctured tyres. Suppliers must be able to supply a range of commercially available tyres on a 'supply only' basis to the main stores based in Wakefield and from time to time to any location within the West Yorkshire boundary. Suppliers should be aware that WYP have an existing contract with Goodyear who provide WYP with Goodyear brand tyres. To complement the existing Goodyear contract, Suppliers will be required to provide a range of various brand tyres to West Yorkshire Police to meet ad-hoc requirements.
