THE PROVISION OF A PART-TIME NSETS/JNC ENDORSED PROFESSIONAL FORMATION PROGRAMME IN YOUTH WORK
The EA is seeking to appoint a supplier to provide a 4-year undergraduate programme for approx. 20-30 students in a Youth Services Professional Qualification. The appointed supplier must meet the minimum standards and prescribed criteria, as set out by the youthwork sector, and the North South Education Training Standards.
The Pathways Initiative will require the supplier to address and provide their approach to the below demands.
• EA requirements in relation to our Pathways Scheme for undergraduates
• Capacity to offer university places for a cohort of between 20-30 per annum over the next 4 years.

• Entry requirements in relation to the EA and the university
• Specific course content relating to the Northern Ireland context
• Content of course modules, student placements and finance

Provision and supply of Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) to schools in Northern Ireland
EA have been tasked with setting up a contract for the supply of AEDs to schools across Northern Ireland. These AEDs must be suitable for both adults and children. It is estimated that around 500 schools will require AEDs in 2025. It is possible that some of the AEDs will have to be kept in an outdoor cabinet. It is expected that deliveries will commence in June 2025 and be completed by end of October 2025.
