Patient Level Information Costing System Software for Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust

The purpose of this Preliminary Market Engagement is to enable Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust (YAS) to explore opportunities and gain a better understanding of Finance & Procurement systems available to the NHS and their differing abilities. The NHS is challenged with making significant reductions in spending across the board. The Trust acknowledges that digital solutions can require substantial financial commitment, and is keen to ensure efficiency remains forefront, therefore YAS are also keen to explore the possibilities available in relation to the incorporation of financial fixed asset management and inventory systems and a supplier catalogue management service, and to determine if there is any opportunity for them to be delivered within one system. Interested parties will be invited to a Supplier Day Event where a short presentation will be delivered by YAS, then opening the floor to feedback and wider discussion with those present exploring the feasibility of goal achievement and current innovations. Providers will not, at this stage be expected to divulge any commercial information. Presentations and demonstrations from interested parties will be requested at a later date, as part of the tender process. And are likely to be part of the technical evaluation.

YAS 04 2025_26 PTS Patient Transport Framework Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust (YAS) seeks to establish a Framework Agreement consisting of a range of patient-focused transport suppliers who are suitably qualified. The service provided shall be used mostly by our Patient Transport Service (PTS), for patients eligible for NHS-funded transport who are unable to travel to their healthcare appointments by other means due to their medical condition. This includes, but is not limited to, discharges, transfers, admissions, outpatient appointments and low acuity transport. This procurement exercise is divided into eight (8) lots; these being based upon the type of vehicle and the level of patient mobility which can be allocated to each vehicle type for the conveyance of patients within the following areas listed below (please note that additional areas may be introduced during the duration of the framework agreement): · North Yorkshire · East Yorkshire · North Lincolnshire · West Yorkshire · South Yorkshire This will include travel both within and, on occasions, outside these regions. Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust (YAS) is seeking to engage with potential providers to develop our future approach to sub-contracting additional clinical assessment support for the 999 and NHS111 services in Yorkshire & Humber. YAS intends to procure a sub-contracted service to provide telephone clinical assessment and onward navigation for a proportion of lower acuity 999 & 111 calls, aiming to ensure patients get the most appropriate care at the earliest opportunity. The sub-contracted service would be a long-term strategic collaboration with YAS, providing responsive high quality clinical assessment resource and tactical resilience to the 999 and NHS111 services. The proposed service would commence on 1st April 2025, with an initial contract length of two years (24 months) and an optional extension of one year (12 months).

The primary objective of this procurement is to provide a compliant, cost-effective, efficient, expert, and flexible provision of audit services for re - certification of the Business Continuity Management System to the International Standard ISO22301 certification service to the Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust. YAS currently holds certification for around 6,000 staff.

The Authority is seeking multiple suppliers to establish a Framework Agreement for the provision of C1 Driver Training instruction. C1 driver training is predominantly required for Emergency & Urgent provision, where those employed may not hold this qualification by acquired rights or by an actual qualification. The framework will cover various regions in England and will be accessed by named Ambulance Trusts in England. Suppliers are reminded if they wish to participate in the tender they must register on the Central Digital Platform and on the e-procurement system - Atamis.

The Authority require an awarding organisation for the registration of qualifications that form part of our Ambulance Career Path Some of these qualifications are a mandatory requirement of the ASW (Ambulance Support Worker) and AAP (Associate Ambulance Practitioner) apprenticeship.  The Qualifications required are:     Level 3 Certificate in Emergency Response Ambulance Driving (CERAD) inclusive of pathways for DCA and RRV.
