The framework will provide a single commercial route to access a broad range of technical capabilities, supporting Yorkshire Water's Engineering, Asset Management and Commercial functions. It will replace existing Technical Services and Technical Assurance frameworks and ensure continuity, resilience and flexibility in securing specialist expertise.
The framework will include multiple Lots reflecting different categories of technical need, including project-level engineering support, independent technical assurance, complex multi-disciplinary design services, and strategic design capability development. Catering services will need to be provided to facilitate an offering for the Client employees who work outside of the manned catering service hours.
The bidder will need to provide a variety of hospitality services to serve meeting rooms and events such as Induction sessions and Board meetings.

The framework will appoint a panel of experienced suppliers capable of delivering a broad range of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies. These may include, but are not limited to, customer satisfaction tracking, willingness-to-pay studies, behavioral insights, segmentation, vulnerability research, digital engagement analysis, and co-creation activities.
The appointed suppliers will play a critical role in supporting Yorkshire Water's obligations to Ofwat, including the development of robust and defensible customer evidence for business planning and performance commitments under AMP8. Suppliers will be expected to demonstrate strong expertise in regulatory research, water sector experience (or analogous regulated industries), and the ability to deliver insight that drives tangible business outcomes.
