Brockworth Parish Council will, through open tender, enter into a 3-year service level agreement (SLA) with one provider, with the option of continuing for a further two years (subject to review and funding availability), to deliver a range of youth services in Brockworth and Coopers Edge, depending on identified need in the area. The contract will commence on 1st April 2022 at a value of circa £30,000 per annum. This will be through a mixture of centre based sessions, outreach & detached youth work, information, advice and support and joint activities which may involve volunteers or the need to provide transport. There is a core team of six part time youth workers currently employed 0.6 FTE to deliver youth work in Brockworth and it is likely that there are TUPE requirements for these staff as part of any new contract. (please see separate staffing implications document) The service will be designed and developed with involvement from young people as engagement and accessibility are key requirements for providing activities. It is envisaged that the service will continue to evolve over time (subject to regular feedback consultation and evaluation by users) to include formal training opportunities and holiday activities. The parish council will hold regular monitoring meetings with the appointed provider to discuss progress and to aid decision making. These will be in addition to formal SLA Performance Review meetings which will be conducted at half-year and yearly periods to ensure agreed target outcomes and outputs are reached. Repairs to the eastern wall of the churchyard fronting Nottingham Road to St Andrews church,Kegworth. Working in accordance with the agreed traffic management proposals. Removal of vegetation and ivy growth both within the walling and over the surface of the wall, part dismantling and rebuilding sections of the stone walling, repairs and repointing to the stone walling as described in the schedule. See specification for full details of the works. Contractors interested in tendering should complete the prequalification questionnaire (PQQ) initially and return to the Clerk at Kegworth Parish Council by the deadline date.

Tender for construction of additional car parking on Bowers Place, Crawley Down West Sussex RO10 4HZ. Works entail conversion of existing verge to carriageway, butted to the existing footpath, to form parking for 19 vehicles. Requirement of proof of £10,000,00 Public Liability Insurance, and demonstrate of accreditation under the New Roads and Street Works Act 1991 (Operative Course Units 1-9) to carry out work on the highway. Site visit is recommended, due to access limitations, low voltage overhead cables and limited potential for bulk materials storage. Quotation to be delivered in a sealed envelope marked "Bowers Place Tender Return" no later than 11am on Friday, 16th December 2022

Worth Parish Council (The Employer) is seeking a suitably qualified company to design and construct a new Multi Use Games Area (MUGA) at the Recreation Ground. The Council is planning major improvements within the grounds, which will also include a new playground, carpark, pathways and landscaping. Funding for the projects will largely be from Building Contributions to the Local Authority (subject to confirmation), however the Council is also seeking additional grants and funding sources to ensure a robust and optimum outcome. It is likely that Planning Permission will be required for the MUGA, and at the time of the tender process, the Council will submit Pre-Application advice in relation to what would be required for permission. The sequence and timing of construction will depend on various factors, including Full Planning Permission and the proposed Playground and other planned Works. That is, although it is likely the MUGA will be the first stage of development and will need to be confirmed within the Council and preferred contractor.

A three-year contract is available from 2024 to provide a service for grass cutting in areas of Kegworth, which are owned by the Parish Council. This includes the mowing of several play areas, recreation ground, sports ground, church yards, cemetery and other small areas of other land, as per the specification. Completed quotation forms should be received by 10 am on Monday 15th January 2024. They should be sent to the Clerk at Kegworth Parish Council, 1 London Road, Kegworth, Derby, DE74 2EU, together with two references from current clients and a copy of your public liability insurance document.

The Parking Scheme involves the construction of eighteen parking spaces in a layby format in Bowers Place adjacent to the village green. The work is to take place within the publicly maintained highway and will be the subject of a Section 278 agreement with West Sussex County Council. It is anticipated a revised planning application will be approved by Mid Sussex District Council on Monday 1st December 2025. The Section 278 agreement application can then be submitted with a view to commencement on site being possible in late February 2026. WPC have funding for the project in place and have appointed Paul Budgen Associates LLP (t/as PBA Planning) as the Project Manager to deliver the scheme as soon as possible. All contractors will have been deemed to have visited the site prior to finalising their tender to familiarise themselves with site constraints, access and existing conditions and account for these in their bid.
