Woodley Town Council has a history of supporting young people in Woodley and has provided detached support services through a service level agreement with a local provider for several years. We are inviting submissions from providers of detached youth support services who have the vision, experience and means to carry out youth support services that meet the requirements of our Strategy for Youth Services 2022-2027 (attached).
Gym Equipment Lease - Woodford Park Leisure Centre
Woodley Town Council is inviting tenders for the provision of gym fitness equipment for The Gym on The Park at Woodford Park Leisure Centre, under a lease agreement. The contract will commence from November 2023 for an initial period of 5 years.
Heating System - Sports Hall, Woodford Park Leisure Centre
Woodley Town Council is inviting tenders for the installation of a new gas fired radiant tube heating system including all tubing, pipework, connections and controls, completion certificate and gas safety certificate and guarantees for materials and works.
The specification should be suitable for heating to benefit active sports and slow movement activities and in accordance with Sport England recommendations.
Woodley town council are inviting tenders for complete removal and reinstatement of new toilet facilities to our multi use community building.
Currently this consists of;
• Female rest room with 6 cubicles, sinks, hand dryers,
• Male rest room with 2 cubicles, 3 urinals, sinks and hand dryers and 2
• Disability restroom with 1 toilet, sink and sundries.
We are looking to change the layout of the current rest rooms to include;

X1 compliant toilet plus baby changing facilities
We will require all works to meet the current regulations and standards and it must be stated in the tender submission how the proposal meets these requirements.
Works to include electrical alteration to current lighting with upgrades to PIR systems.
Rest rooms will require new flooring and hygienic wall systems, along with cubicles and fittings and fixtures which will need to include toilet roll dispensers, soap and moisturising dispensers, hand insert hand dryers, sanitary disposal etc.
Suggestions on hygiene improvements and energy reducing solutions will be welcomed and should be included as options where appropriate.
We are looking for robust, modern, clean, spacious, low maintenance, low environmental impact restrooms that will last in a public environment that also houses wedding functions, on site café, business meetings and theatre goers.
Companies applying should be capable of carrying out all the works from start to finish, with handover being complete ready to use restrooms with all certification and testing carried out.
The Council intends to enter into a formal contract with the successful tenderer. This will be a JCT minor works with contractor's design.

Woodley town council are inviting tenders for the installation of a complete CCTV surveillance system in Woodley Town Centre. The system will provide high quality image recording of identified areas with a wireless link to the Oakwood Centre building, where the recording unit will be situated. Appropriate software applications will be included for file sharing and remote viewing. Details of aftercare support, call out and maintenance information should also be included.
Camera coverage will include the main precinct area and some areas of adjoining road/pathways access areas.

Woodley town council are inviting tenders for the installation of a freestanding pergola to the front of the building, with incorporated screens, lighting, heating and glass balustrade.
Woodley Town Council are inviting proposals for the installation of a fully integrated Leisure Management system at Woodford Park Leisure Centre. The system must help manage bookings, payments and memberships, reduce administrative workload and provide customers and members with the ability to book and pay for the Council's leisure services online (including via an app).
The solution must result in a complete overhaul of the current management systems in place at the Leisure Centre, and should include:
• Block bookings and scheduling functionality (inc. invoicing).
• Online booking and payment services for customers (inc. via an app).
• Direct Debit collection and management services for memberships.
• Card payment and POS integration at Leisure Centre reception desk.
• Fully integrated financial and general reporting capabilities.
• Customer engagement tools (inc. email, SMS and push notifications).
The system must support simultaneous use by at least three staff members, with a preference for solutions that offer flexibility and scalability in this regard.
The system must also have access control capabilities linked to memberships and bookings, and should include:
• Ability for "pay as you play" customers to "check in" for bookings and prove payment at reception by scanning a QR code (via an app).
• Ability for access to the gym to be controlled using QR codes (via an app).
• Ability to add in additional access control points in the future as the Leisure Centre develops and additional facilities are added.
Currently, the only access control at the Leisure Centre is located at the main gym entrance, which uses a magnetic lock operated via magnetic stripe cards. The Council intends to retain the magnetic lock mechanism but transition away from magnetic stripe cards in favour of a QR code-based access system.
