Works to be undertaken on council-maintained site includes but is not limited to:
Undertake Pointing and refurbishment to the external walls of the building including but not limited to eroded stone replacement where required, removal of cement pointing, galletting and repointing in haired lime mortar.
Wetherby Town Council is looking to appoint a contractor who can design, install and maintain a new upgraded playground area within Wetherby.
All details are on the attachments included within this notice including playground requirements, procurement timetables, how to apply and details of our public and stakeholder consultations that will help potential contractors assess what is required to take part in their applications.
Works comprise repairs to the Cemetery boundary entrance and wall to the north boundary along Hallfield Lane and to Masons Field. The works include: Stone repairs, rebuilding and repairs to metal gates.
Works are detailed in the Scope of Works document and accompanying plans attached to this notice.
The procurement process is being handled on behalf of Wetherby Town Council by Maddison James Associates Ltd. Tenders should be submitted by e-mail to: rjm@maddisonjamesassociates.co.uk prior to the closing date of 3/12/24 at 5pm.
The works shall include in summary:
- Isolation and removal of existing gas heating boiler and associated plant
- Isolation and removal of existing gas water heater
- Provision of new boiler plant, flue, pumps and controls
- Provision of new unvented hot water storage cylinder and domestic services distribution pipe work
- Installation of zone controls
Wetherby Town Council would like to replace the vertical bar railing and gate system that borders one of the Council's show gardens. The existing design and configuration is to be replicated including details such as finials and gate levers. The garden border is approximately 65m with two gates.
