This project seeks to create a spray concrete skatepark for wheeled sports within King George's Field (KGF) to replace the existing metal skatepark, which has come to the end of its life. A grassed area, below the existing site, has been identified for the creation of a new skate park - the area is approximately 40m x 30m, but it is NOT expected that the new skate park will use all of this area, simply to be situated within it. The area is on a slope and we will be looking for a creative design that works with the gradient. This project seeks to create a 1500mm wide 'hoggin' path around the perimeter of the playing field (without edging), with 'spurs' connecting to the car park, playground and new skate park. The length of the path is estimated to be approximately 1000 metres in length.

Mowing Contract 1 April 2025 - 31 March 2028 (with potential two-year extension)
Westerham Town Council is responsible for the management of Crockham Hill Playing Field, King George's Playing Field, The Green, High Street, Westerham, and the following open spaces, Verralls Corner, Granville Road (green only), Ash Road, Hartley Road and Madan Road.
The Council now wishes to tender for mowing (full details included in the Mowing work Specification in the tender pack).
Each area identified should be individually priced. The tenderer may quote for some or all of the areas identified.
Each area will be assessed separately and the Mowing Contract may consequently be awarded to multiple contractors.
A mowing tender pack, with specifications and appendices is attached below.
All tender submissions must be received by 12 noon on Monday 4th November 2024.
