WYFRS would like to invite suppliers to submit a tender for the provision of Trade Waste and Recycling Services at premises located at our sites across West Yorkshire. The intention of this exercise is to award the contract to a single supplier to provide efficient, compliant, and cost-effective services managing various waste streams.

West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Authority (hereinafter referred to as the "Customer") seeks to undertake external works at Meltham Fire Station. These works include but are not limited to, the renewal of all fascia’s, soffits, gutters, downpipes, and bargeboards on the main building. Additionally, the external front cladding requires replacement. Several external windowsills exhibit signs of concrete deterioration (concrete cancer) and will require treatment to restore and preserve them. Certain areas of the station's brickwork necessitate repointing, and the felt roof on the small fuel store requires replacement.

WYFRS wish to purchase a number of Body Worn Video Cameras for use on front line appliances, operational personnel and Prevention and Protection staff. there will be an initial purchase of 240 units, however during the term of the contract there may be the need to purchase ad-hoc units as and when required. The provision also includes the need for a Data Management System to facilitate the use and storage of software and relevant data for video and still images and also includes a system support service. A repair and maintenance service for the hardware will also be included in the contract.

The provision of a PPM service including maintenance, inspection, testing, and the provision of reactive call-out service including any repairs, replacement or upgrades and related minor works projects (as required) relating to the Installation to premises located at sites of the Customer. The Contractor shall provide a professionally managed, quality service that ensures the effective and appropriate operation of the Employer’s Assets that include but not be limited to:• Fuel and Heating oil tank integrity (above and below ground);• All associated systems and controls. • Alarms and overfill warning systems.• Pipes, fuel and sump pumps, controls and safety valves • Surface water drainage systems including petrol / diesel interceptors and soakaways.• Above and below ground drainage systems including grease traps.• Wastewater and Sewage drains• Rainwater drainage and underground tanksCulvert (Dewsbury)

West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue (WYFRS) is leading this project on behalf of the Yorkshire and Humber Regional Group which consists of West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service (WYFRS), South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service (SYFRS), North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service (NYFRS) and Humberside Fire and Rescue Service (HFRS). Together the Service are seeking the provision of a Regional Detection, Identification and Monitoring (DIM) Scientific Support and Assurance Service. The required service will encompass the following elements. - Provision of a 24/7 scientific advice to support operational incidents - Delivery of Radiation Protection Advisory (RPA) services - Bi-annual Analytical Skills Development and Maintenance (ASDM) assessments - Delivery and development of training - Supply of CHASE/Wet chemical kits and consumables
