WYFRS would like to appoint a contractor for the provision of window cleaning services for WYFRS Head Quarters , 40 Fire Stations and 9 Close Call Houses across the five districts that make up West Yorkshire. The services will include routine (3 times per year) internal and external window cleaning including glazing, frames, sills, door vision panels, side glazing and other fenestrations.

West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service (WYFRS) is seeking qualified suppliers for the provision of Water Rescue Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), a repair and maintenance service and associated products such as water rescue poles, lifejackets and related equipment. WYFRS equips and trains operational personnel to respond effectively to water-related incidents. The service operates with two distinct levels of water rescue capability. MOD2 (Level 1) Equipment and PPE are deployed across 34 fire stations MOD3 (Level 2) Swift Water Technicians are based at 6 fire stations, requiring enhanced equipment and PPE. The Procurement is structured into 10 individual lots.

To support growing network demands and ensure reliable, high-speed connectivity, West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service is upgrading the existing Wi-Fi access points, improving security and scalability for future needs across West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service.

WYFRS wishes to appoint a contractor for the provision of Grounds Maintenance, Winter Services, and Arboricultural Tree Surveys across all WYFRS sites during the different seasons of the year. The scope of the services includes general upkeep of the grounds across all WYFRS sites including (but not limited to) grass cutting, removal of weeds and moss including from all hard standing areas, removal of leaves, maintenance of shrubberies, flower beds, hedges and tree pruning. Winter Services are also required at FSHQ. During the first Planned Maintenance visit the Contractor may be required to undertake a verification survey of the sites. This will require the Contractor to identify, verify, and record the works required. Arboricultural tree surveys will be required in year one of the contract and year 4, with any recommendations to be identified.

West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service (WYFRS) is seeking a suitable supplier to deliver flexible, high-quality training for our Digital, Data and Technology (DDaT) team. The training solution must allow staff to access and exit courses as needed, ensuring operational priorities can always take precedence. Approximately 40 staff members will require training annually. WYFRS require online access to technical IT content, including structured learning pathways, with coverage across key areas such as but not to be limited to: Cloud technologies (e.g., Azure, AWS), Cybersecurity and Information Assurance, Software Development and Programming (e.g., Python, .NET, Java), Data Analytics and Business Intelligence, DevOps and Automation, Networking and Infrastructure, IT Service Management and Governance. In addition, the solution should provide: Manager dashboards for tracking progress and engagement, Reporting capabilities for performance and compliance, and Sandbox environments for hands-on practice and experimentation. The contract duration is currently undefined but is expected to run for a minimum of three years. WYFRS wishes to appoint a contractor for the provision of servicing, planned maintenance and repair of the UPS and Generators across 7 WYFRS sites. The scope of services includes the verification of as installed information; planned inspection and testing to ensure that the Installation meets operational and safety standards; reactive maintenance including the provision of a 365/24/7 call out service to attend at an applicable site within the prescribed times. The services also includes provision for repairs, replacements, modifications and requested upgrades to the Installation.

West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service (WYFRS) is seeking to procure between 5 and 7 powerboat engines compatible with our existing water rescue vessels. The engines will be required to fit the SIT RescueQCraft 4700 model currently in operational use. As part of the procurement, WYFRS may also require the successful supplier to provide ongoing engine maintenance through an annual service contract and/or deliver training to internal personnel to enable them to undertake minor repairs and routine maintenance activities. The replacement engines must deliver a comparable level of performance to that required for MOD4 capabilities, aligned with the UK Fire & Rescue Service’s Swiftwater and Flood Rescue Boat Operator standards. This is necessary to ensure compliance with West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service (WYFRS) requirements and to maintain both local and national response capability arrangements.

The purpose of this project is to appoint a supplier to deliver an IT Service Management (ITSM) system. The system will deliver and manage IT services across operational and support services in alignment with ITIL practices.

To appoint an LGV training provider which helps deliver the following non-exhaustive list- LGV theory learning and assessment, LGV practical teaching inclusive of knowledge and understanding, LGV assessment , and Report and certification.

The West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service (WYFRS) is inviting expressions of interest for an upcoming tender for a replacement HR System. As the fourth-largest Fire and Rescue Service in the UK, WYFRS serves over 2.2 million people across 800 square miles, providing emergency coverage 24 hours a day, every day of the year. WYFRS employees approx. 1500 staff. At this time, WYFRS is looking to assess the market's interest and its appetite to bid for and deliver this upcoming contract. A high-level overview of the key requirements is outlined below, although full details will be provided in the tender opportunity. The solution will provide a streamlined approach, identifying and delivering effective support to WYFRS. A non-exhaustive overview of the core requirements is provided as follows: Core HR Functionality, Recruitment & On-Boarding, Training Module, Absence & Leave Management, Multiple Appointments/Contract, Discipline & Grievance Management, Appraisals/Performance Reviews, Time & Attendance, Comprehensive Reporting, Integration With Third Party Systems, Data Migration, Staff Rota & Workforce Planning, Training and Change Management, Rostering - Workforce Planning and timesheets. The tender is expected to be issued approximately September 2025. The contract term will last a minimum of 3 years, with options to extend for +1 + 1 year periods, bringing the total duration to a maximum of 5 years total. The estimated costs for the full contract term is expected to be between £600,000.00 and £750,000.00. The existing contract is due to expire February 2027. It is expected that the new contract may need to commence prior to this date depending on market feedback.
