West Dunbartonshire Council are looking to appoint a suitably qualified supplier to carry out Removals, External Environmental Works & Needle Sweep Services.
West Dunbartonshire Council (the Council) wishes to install environmental sensors in our homes to provide the Council, and crucially also our tenants, with real time information on humidity and air quality in our properties. High levels of humidity is a risk factor for mould and can signify damp meanwhile poor air quality has consequences for health and wellbeing. These sensors will allow the Council to identify problematic properties where we need to take action for example investigating damp or providing tenant with advice.
The provision is to give West Dunbartonshire Council a route to identify qualified multi-trade contractors and trade groups to deliver maintenance, routine servicing and emergency repairs to West Dunbartonshire Council buildings, including works to void properties in a multi-trade environment and a 24 hour 356 days emergency response service to be carried out in compliance with the contract conditions
Contractors will be required to provide details on how their organisation in terms of skill, qualifications and competence that fit and meet with the specification the skills. They will need to demonstrate they have a Waste Management plan, Contractors will also be required to provide evidence of insurance policies, where required to provide evidence of security Industry Authority Approved Contractor’s Scheme (SIA)
The successful contractors shall be expected to form part of a team, be adaptable, conscientious and be able to carry out instruction with the minimum supervision to allow efficient completion of the work order. Tenders can be submitted for more than one lot.
The works to be undertaken will include the supply, fit, maintain laundry equipment. This includes installing, servicing, maintaining and repair of washing machines, dryers, presses, and any other equipment used for laundering clothes or other materials, such as table cloths etc. Contractors must provide evidence in Section 4C of the SPD of any legal accreditations and qualifications required to carry out the scopes of work and services in order to pass qualification criteria. Failure to do so will result in exclusion from the tender.

West Dunbartonshire Health and Social Care Partnership (WDHSCP) is looking to co-produce and develop a service that and meets the needs of people with multiple and complex needs.
The service will provide a rapid response to people that have experienced a near fatal overdose and those at further risk of overdose. The service will identify, respond and engage with individuals as close to the high risk event as possible. The service will provide harm reduction support and assertive outreach through a multi-disciplinary staff team.
The Provider will operate the service from 10am to 8pm, Monday to Friday and from 10am to 6pm Saturday and Sunday 365 days per year.
The authority intends to create a framework, the framework will be ranked and can be accessed via call-off's for "Packages of Works" in line with the Terms & Conditions of Contract.
The scope of works to be undertaken are of specialist contractor to deliver, repair and maintain electrical installation in all West Dunbartonshire owned or operated buildings, including tenanted houses.

West Dunbartonshire Council (the Council) is seeking to appoint a suitable qualified and experienced provider for the annual servicing, breakdown repairs and commissioning of wet central heating systems (domestic boilers which include gas, electric and communal gas boilers) for approximately 9,000 domestic properties within the geographical area of West Dunbartonshire for which the Council is responsible.
West Dunbartonshire Council is also looking for the successful contractor to engage in other ancillary maintenance tasks while in the property.
The Services provided will be for intensive and support services for adults aged 18 years and over who experience challenges with alcohol and substance misuse and peer support services for adults aged 18 years and over who experience challenges with alcohol and substance misuse.
