The Council is inviting tenders for a National Vegetation Classification (NVC) and botanical survey of the entirety of Mare Hill Common during the spring and summer of 2025, with the findings presented in a detailed report, and associated GIS mapping of NVC communities, notable species, and non-native invasive species.

Waverley Borough Council (WBC) have a programme of Legionella Risk Assessments and PPM works. These activities generate required remedial actions. The provision of the works to resolve the remedial actions is the requirement of this tender.

Waverley Borough Council (WBC) requires the services of an architect/lead consultant, together with associated professional services aligning to all RIBA Plan of Work Stages 0-7, to develop a design and technical specification for a new low carbon leisure facility replacement (Cranleigh Leisure Centre (CLC)). The Architect will act as the Lead Designer for design related matters and will coordinate and integrate the work of other consultants however employed. The CLC investment aims to deliver a new leisure facility for Cranleigh that will meet the demands of the local community, in terms of facility mix, but also deliver a low carbon building in accordance with Waverley’s net zero carbon by 2030 commitment. The values stated and attributed to this contract are indicative only and are based on costings compiled in 2021 so may be considerably different (higher or lower) than advertised. Waverley Borough Council (WBC) intends to commission a specialist building surveying or similar consultancy firm to carry out an up-to-date stock condition survey of their housing portfolio, to update the data held and provide a more accurate assessment of current condition, defects / backlog repairs and forecast maintenance / investment requirements, based on current actual rather than assumed condition.
The works include Responsive Repairs, Aids and Adaptations and Void Refurbishment Works to approximately 5,000 properties owned and managed by WBC.Contract commencement in March 2022, and the contract will run for a period of five years with the option for renewal, as decided by WBC, for a further five years. The maximum duration of the contract is ten years. Tender for asbestos surveys and analysis services. contract will also include the requirement to update client’s asbestos database and carryout audits of asbestos removal works carried out by the asbestos removal contractor. There is also a requirement to provide out of hours cover in the case of emergencies.

The Council is seeking Tenders in respect of patching of the wearing surface in areas that are broken, deformed or overly weathered. The work typically covers irregular damaged surfaces with full depth repairs anticipated to some areas to regain structural integrity.
Waverley Borough Council is currently undertaking substantial, self-funded investment in its Ockford Ridge estate in Godalming, Surrey. The next phase of this significant investment in social housing, known as Site C, is ready to be brought forward within the next 24 months. The Council is therefore looking for a high quality design and build contractor to undertake the next stage of regeneration at Ockford Ridge. This will be the development of 30 new-build, affordable living units. The development comprises a mixture of both 1 bedroomed flats and 2 and 3 bedroomed houses, along with associated parking and landscaping and will have a value of approximately £5.5 - £6.25 million.
The contract will be for the management and operation of Cranleigh Leisure Centre, Farnham Leisure Centre, Godalming Leisure Centre and Haslemere Leisure Centre and shall include the development and delivery of a new Active Communities Programme. The contract will also include the management and operation of a new leisure facility which is planned to open in July 2026 and which shall replace Cranleigh Leisure Centre. The Council also has plans for investment at Farnham and Godalming Leisure Centres to extend and improve these facilities.
