We are seeking an agency partner to help us deliver a WRAP brand that truly reflects our experience, expertise and global ambition. Our chosen agency should care deeply about mitigating climate change and be willing to meet, challenge and exceed the brief. Based on stakeholder research, we know that to enable circular living on a global scale, we need a brand that positions us as:
Less: UK local, quasi-government, passive, low-key, 'footnote in a report'
More: global NGO, bold, ambitious, pro-active, impactful
Whilst retaining: technical expertise, independent convening power, trust and credibility for delivering results.
Acknowledging the above, our chosen agency partner will help us to navigate:
Global expansion as we establish our presence in the Americas and Asia Pacific;
A potential name alteration to reflect our global presence;
Brand hierarchy and relationships between WRAP and its various sub-brands, campaigns and initiatives.
Our visual and verbal language, to inform our overall;
Brand personality.
The crux of the challenge is retaining our 20+ years of technical reputation and credibility, with the need to become bolder and broader-reaching as an organisation.

Our vision is a thriving world in which climate change is no longer a problem. At WRAP we believe that our natural resources shouldn't be wasted. WRAP seeks to take a holistic approach across our delivery that addresses both the ecological impact of materials and the inequalities exacerbated by the current linear economy.
A just transition recognises the environmental, social, and economic dimensions of the global climate crisis. It is not sufficient to simply mitigate environmental damage; it must also ensure that the benefits and burdens of ecological policies are distributed fairly. This approach is rooted in the understanding that environmental justice and social equity are intrinsically linked. It is imperative that the transition does not exacerbate existing vulnerabilities or create new inequities.
We specifically seek to strengthen WRAP's strategic alignment with just transition principles to support our growth and impact ambitions around the world and to ensure that just transition runs through all of WRAP's work. We have split this work into two phases:
phase 1Strategic alignment to just transition principles
phase 2 Partnership building with just transition funders
This procurement activity is only for Phase 1.
