Public Health Wales seeks to commission the establishment and piloting of a population panel for Wales, to engage the public on issues of key public health importance (e.g., health inequalities, health behaviours, population aspirations for public health, perceptions on public health policy, and new avenues of research and evaluation). Establishment of the population panel will focus on panel recruitment, methods of panel rotation, and methods of participation and their implementation (e.g., online survey self-completion, computer assisted telephone interviewing [CATI], computer assisted self-interviewing [CASI], mixed approaches to suit participant preferences). We envision each monthly panel survey to include a sample of approximately 800-1,000 residents. Panel membership will ensure national representativeness within each monthly survey, according to geography, age, sex, and deprivation quintile (as determined by the Welsh Index of Multiple Deprivation), with over-sampling of participants resident in Wales’ most deprived lower super output areas. Panel membership would also represent the rich diversity of the Welsh population, with over-sampling of under-represented population groups, including by ethnicity, disability, and younger age. We expect the pilot phase (to March 2023) to include recruitment and initial surveying of panel members and second-contact surveying to inform understanding of retention, possible attrition, rotation, and ongoing maintenance of the panel.

Fire damper service, testing and maintenance for Powys Teaching Health Board

Cardiff and Vale UHB vision is for Wales to be a world leader and global authority in the ‘scale and spread’ of improvement, innovation and transformational change within health and social care. The All-Wales Intensive Learning Academy for Innovation in Health and Social Care (ILA:IHSC) will become a beacon for the identification, implementation and evaluation of the science and practice of innovation, transformation, scale and spread in Wales and beyond. The Academy will deliver long-term sustainability and respond to change, providing a dynamic capability for Wales. Delivered through a case-based pedagogy, the ILA will offer an evolving portfolio of flexible, accessible, experiential practice-based learning opportunities and best in class, Masters Level, experiential learning programme for frontline staff at all levels of health and care organisations. Due to this course outline, the Health Board has a requirement for Immersive Leadership Training and Community Organising.

Follow a review of e-systems across the organisation, Aneurin Bevan University Health Board wish to procure an Electronic Medical Job Planning system.

Health Education and Improvement Wales (HEIW) is a Special Health Authority within Wales which sits alongside Health Boards and Trusts. HEIW have a Professional Support Unit (PSU) who's role is to promote and support positive psychology and wellbeing at work for medical, dental and pharmacist trainees across Wales. Some trainees will require short term support by an appropriately qualified and experienced specialist that is outside the scope of internal PSU service expertise. Therefore HEIW have a requirement for a specialist psychological service provider to provide support to trainees across Wales for physical health, mental health, special learning and educational needs and personal and professional skills.

BCUHB is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified provider to deliver bespoke In Vitro Diagnostics support in delivering Immunology services on the Ysbyty Gwynedd site. This will include equipment, maintenance, consumables, reagents, information technology and training by way of managed service contract

The CAV UHB have been allocated funding to the total value of GBP600k to support a challenge to Industry for identifying and developing innovative solutions to the scope provided within the main requirement. The intention is to hold engagement market research and testing with industry to identify and explore potential opportunities to help develop innovative solutions that can help to support the challenge. The procurement will be shaped into stages with funding being available subject to project board sign off during the process to enable bidders to develop their proposed solution further; Phase 1 : Development of Concepts (~GBP100k) with funded contribution up to GBP20k available for bidders subject to successful selection (up to a period of 3 months) Phase 2 : Development of Functional Prototype (~GBP200k) with funded contribution up to ~GBP100k available to bidders selected to progress from Phase 1 (Up to a period of 6 months) Phase 3 : Next stage development towards deployable/commercial product with up to ~GBP300k available to bidders selected to progress from Phase 2 The development stages and funds available are provided as a guide and may be subject to change depending on the outcome of the development phases that will help to inform the final Tender.
