The VOA requirement is for an annual licence subscription to access the Essential Information Group's (EiG) property market information database. These licences allow specialist Valuers and Graduate Surveyors to undertake valuation work in the area they are involved in. This market information is used to support VOA operations, in particular valuation advice to a number of public sector clients, HMRC taxation settlements and DWP valuations in support of benefits.

The VOA is seeking the provision of call off Professional Services Works from a supplier to undertake Programme Delivery Assurance and provide Advice and support of its Business Systems Transformation programme, in the run up to delivery preparedness.

The VOA has a requirement for a service provider to deliver an MSc Real Estate Programme 2023 (Study Spring Semester), to enable both 'in flight' students (already on programme with UCEM) and new students, to finalise registration and undertake Spring 2023 semester under VOA sponsorship.

In order to achieve an inclusive and balanced offering the VOA sponsors both academic and vocational qualifications. This apprenticeship standard is used to support our Valuation Surveyor talent pipeline to enable our colleagues to achieve MRICS accreditation.

The VOA is undertaking a new transformation programme, Business Rates Review programme, that will deliver a key Government commitment, announced by the Chancellor in the Autumn Budget, to reform the operation of the business rates system. This focuses on non-domestic ratepayers. We are seeking an external Delivery Partner to support us through the next phase of our NDR Programme (Alpha). The Partner must have a proven, substantial track-record of high-profile agile delivery and experience of supporting Government to deploy complex transformation programmes. They must also show they can work collaboratively with other suppliers to deliver sustainable solutions.

The VOA is seeking to appoint an external Supplier to provided Professional Services on a fixed delivery outcome in support of the Agency's NDR Reforms Programme. The appointed supplier should have extensive knowledge, experience and a proven substantial track record of (i) the Gov UK GDS Design Standards and Agile delivery methodology, (ii) high-profile customer-centred design, and experience of supporting Government to develop joined-up approaches to reforming complex systems and data flows, (iii) working collaboratively, in an engagement-focussed way, with other suppliers to deliver sustainable solutions and (iv) a proven understanding of the programme including the complexities and challenges.

VOA is seeking to appoint an external supplier to develop and deliver the next iteration of the Programme Business Case, on a fixed delivery outcome, in support of the Agency's NDR Reforms Programme. The appointed supplier will be expected to support and lead on the following activates: Business case writing - Lead the planning, development and drafting of the business case. Prepared to challenge expert input, and ensure the business complies with organisational and Treasury requirements. Business case support - Devise and provide guidance and advice to programme on the requirements and development of business case, using organisational templates and HMT 5 case model. Business case governance - Present business case rationale to senior managers and governance forums, work with key stakeholders to anticipate and mitigate issues and delays whilst engaging with senior management. Ensure that all relevant organisational factors for change are incorporated within a comprehensive business case, and that there is a clear rationale for preferred option/s. Benefits - Lead engagement with key contributors (economist etc) to identify, define and quantify benefits, negotiating with stakeholders to agree the key benefits, and work with senior sponsors to ensure the expectations of senior sponsors are articulated and met. Stakeholder management - Manage and engage with key stakeholders to support the production of business case and ensure linkage with benefits realisation.

This was a Direct Award via Crown Commercial Services Framework - RM6165 The supplier is required to undertake pre-acquisition surveys of properties to be acquired for infrastructure schemes. The condition surveys are visual only and 'non-intrusive' but look at the fabric, structure and services and highlighting any identified needs for repair and any potential issues, hazardous defects including any recommendations for further investigation. This contract is a direct award (not through a framework) to Christie and Co using standard government T&Cs. The initial contract period is for 12 months until 11/06/2024. The extension period is for 12 months until 11/06/2025

The VOA requirement is for a digital data set licence agreement for Mining Hazards Data (England and Wales). These datasets are required by the VOA's Built Environment and Mineral Surveyors (BEAMS) Team as reference material to underpin the preparation of Mining Subsidence Reports (MSRs). These MSRs are necessary to meet existing business contract requirements when DVS undertakes 128 Right to Buy Redeterminations.

The VOA is seeking a media monitoring service which tracks VOA-related coverage. We would like the service to; Create and send daily media monitoring reports via email. The daily monitoring should include a summary of national news, and a summary and clippings of coverage based on search terms determined by the VOA

The Welsh Government has commissioned the VOA to carry out a revaluation of all domestic property in Wales.  To facilitate this, the VOA has built an Automated Valuation Model (AVM) to value some 1.5 million properties.  The VOA is seeking to appoint an external Supplier, who has experience, and a proven substantial track record, to undertake an independent audit of the AVM to confirm that its performance meets the standards expected by the International Association of Assessing Officers. This purchase is for the services and expertise to provide official accreditation for the performance of the AVM. The VOA requirement is for Practical Support Lawyer (PSL), 36 x months on-line licence(s) subscription. Access to PSL provides the VOA with a collection of the relevant statutory materials and the latest practice notes for both non-domestic rates and council tax and is accompanied by detailed commentary. This Contract is a direct award (not through a Framework Agreement). The Contract period is for 36 x months, until 02/01/2027.
