This project is to carry out safe and compliant turnkey refurbishment work to Vico Homes commercial and corporate properties and liaising with other nominated suppliers and sub contractors.
While numbers cannot be confirmed or guaranteed, we would be looking to carry out up to 10 refurbishments per year.
As properties become void, we will look to strip out all existing finishes and fittings, and using the included schedule of work ensure the units are upgraded and presented to customers ready to move in.
All work should be completed to manufacturers recommendations, codes of practice and relevant Building Regulations and standards.
All work is expected to be completed with no defects and all equipment tested and commissioned ready to hand over to the client ready to market.
All work is to comply with relevant environmental and sustainable best practice.
A program of work is to be produced showing each stage of work and agreed prior to starting work.
The agreement will be for comprehensive service for the design, installation, inspection, testing, certification, maintenance, and repair of Mansafe fall protection systems across designated sites. This includes horizontal lifeline systems and fall restraint solutions.
Type of Systems:
o Horizontal lifeline systems (roof-mounted or façade-mounted)
o Fall arrest and fall restraint systems
Vico wished to source a supplier for the provision of Fire Risk Assessment (FRA) Remedial Works Service across Vico locations. This agreement will therefore cover the provision of fire stopping works in Vico Homes Buildings across Yorkshire and the Humber. Vico are addressing Fire Safety Measures with this agreement.
Vico are unable to guarantee any volume of business under any agreement arising from this tender and any quantities and/or volumes stated within this tender are for guidance only and no express or implied statement is given that these will be met or exceeded. However, within this tender, we are looking at 15 schemes annually.
What is expected from the Contractor:
• The Contractor shall deliver a fully compliant fire stopping solution for all service penetrations in accordance with BS EN 13501-2. The Contractor shall determine the appropriate methods, materials, and installation techniques to meet this requirement.
• Fire Stopping Compliance Report - A comprehensive report detailing all fire stopping installations, including photographic evidence, product certifications, and compliance with BS EN 13501-2. Due within 10 working days of installation completion.
• Installation Sign-Off Sheets - Signed documentation for each zone, confirming installation by a certified installer and verified by a third-party inspector.
