The University of York is seeking a Service Provider to provide an external audit service. The scope of the service will extend to all of the University's activities and those of its subsidiary companies / joint ventures. This tender is divided into two lots and bids may be submitted for a single Lot or both Lots dependent upon the Provider's capability. Lotting as follows: Lot 1 - Audit of the University of York and group consolidation only; Lot 2 - Individual audits of the University's Subsidiaries/Joint Ventures only. The Contract(s) will be awarded for an initial period of four years, with the services commencing in April 2023 with the preparation of the audit plan for the University's Audit and Risk Committee.

The University of York is pleased to invite tenders for the supply of smart cards and related products. The successful Provider must be able to provide all of the essential products, i.e. cards, lanyards and holders to the required specification (full details provided in the ITT document). Although volumes can't be guaranteed, the University orders in the region of 40,000 cards every year.
The University currently operates a Kaba access control system utilising a Legic Prime MIM1024 chip across the majority of the campus. Mifare PLUS SE 1K chips are also used in some areas of the campus so both single and dual chip cards are required. Potential Providers MUST be able to provide cards with these specific chips. The University is also looking at migrating to ADVANT chips during which time CTC chips will be used, so Providers must also be able to provide CTC and ADVANT chips.
The University is also hoping to refresh its card printers and associated software during the contract term and wishes to procure these from the successful Provider, therefore Providers must be able to meet this requirement also.
In addition to the written tender submission, the University is requesting product samples for testing purposes, i.e. printed and blank cards, lanyards and card holders - please confirm the file format you need via In-Tend Correspondence and we will provide the logo / images to you.
