The University of Portsmouth is looking for an Auditor with proven specialist knowledge that is required for the provision of Audit Services for Research and Innovation projects where such audits are required by the relevant sponsor. The service required includes the provision of an audit function as required by the terms of the project sponsor on a case by case basis. The majority of the function would be with respect to Horizon Europe and Innovate UK projects but will also include any other funders that require an audit function; provision of management reports in relation to the project; acting as a knowledge base for grant audit issues and assist with audit queries and clarifications from various parties not limited to sponsors, lead partners or other stakeholders. We are seeking a particle sizer, also called Dynamic Light Scattering (DLS), equipped with advanced technology to analyse the size distribution of Nano and micro particles reliably and accurately. The particle sizer should be accompanied by user-friendly software for swift and precise analysis. It should be capable of measuring sizes down to a fraction of a nanometre and up to 5um or higher. In addition to size measurement, the unit must have the capability to identify particle concentrations in fluids ranging from 0.0001% to 40%, ensuring versatility in its applications. Supplier is expected to supply, deliver and install/setup all products to room of choice. 23-SJM-117 - X-Ray Micro CT Scanner The University of Portsmouth requires a X-ray Micro CT Scanner for teaching and projects in the area of advanced materials . The equipment will be used to support delivery of modules, courses and projects, and allow users to engage in investigative and individual project work. Supplier is expected to supply and deliver the product, carry out installation/setup and provide training, including the use of relevant software, mandatory requirements as detailed in the tender documentation. The University requires suppliers to evaluate 3 samples (samples will be provided). A recorded Demonstration is required. Must include delivery and installation and set up as required. This includes delivery to the room of choice, and staff training.
