The University requires near end capabilities for the backup , disaster recovery and Business continuity for Google and M365 and has awarded a 12 month contract to meet this specific need whilst a larger strategic project is underway.

Following this engagement, the University received a single expression of interest from Nu Instruments, who confirmed their ability to meet the specification within the available budget. The instrument will be utilised for high-precision isotopic analysis of Hf, U-Pb, U-series, Sr, Pb, and Nd in geological samples. It must support both dry plasma and laser ablation sample introduction methods and will primarily be applied to geological and materials science research. The system will be integrated with the University's existing 193 nm and femtosecond laser systems. Minimum Technical Requirements: Dual beam path enabling bypass of the collision cell when not required. Daly detectors providing wide dynamic range for mixed isotope systems. Upgrade pathway for fast ion counters to enable single-shot analysis when available. Manufacturer warranty of 36 months The estimated budget for an instrument meeting these specifications is £490,000.00 excluding VAT, £588,000 including VAT. The University intends to procure an ex-demonstration or refurbished instrument directly from the manufacturer. Offers from customers or third-party resellers will not be considered.

To ensure the continued operation of our current Computer-Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) system, Planon, during the transition to the new CAFM system, it is essential that we continue with Planon for an additional six months.

The Supplier shall be required to provide two main bus Service routes: U1: is a Southsea circular route that operates Monday to Friday, during term-time, in an anti-clockwise direction only, through the main student and staff housing areas and starting at Kings Theatre. The Supplier shall be required to provide Services to cater for the busiest periods, and shall be required to deliver a flexible Service which is able to react to changes in demand. This may require the provision of duplicate or additional vehicles operating outside the standard timetable, and provision of additional vehicles to cater for specific events within the University calendar.

The existing electrical supply provides enough power for essential systems and limited operational needs. To ensure a more sustainable and higher‑capacity power provision for future requirements, an upgrade to a dedicated 500 kVA supply has been proposed. Using an alternative connection point is possible, but doing so would significantly reduce available spare capacity elsewhere and may not meet projected demand. The planned upgrade is intended to deliver sufficient power for upcoming activities while preserving capacity and flexibility across the wider network.

The university has agreed a 3 year subscription for the use of Westlaw research database to provides users with access to a wide array of legal resources, including case law, statutes, treatises, and secondary sources. Westlaw is utilized by legal professionals and students for efficient legal research.

The University of Portsmouth is seeking to appoint a supplier under a licensing arrangement to provide SQE1 and SQE2 preparation services, including teaching and learning materials and academic tutor support, to support learners in preparing for and succeeding in the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE). The services shall include comprehensive SQE1 and SQE2 learning materials, structured to support independent and guided study, together with dedicated academic tutor support for SQE1 and SQE2 candidates. The provision shall include assessment-focused materials designed to simulate SQE assessment formats and conditions, together with the provision of formative and diagnostic feedback tailored to individual learner performance. The learning materials and tutor support will be embedded within modules delivered as part of the University of Portsmouth's LLM Professional Legal Practice programme. Delivery will be complemented by academic and pastoral support provided by University of Portsmouth staff.

The University of Portsmouth has procured a mission refinement study to support the continued development of the CosmoCube space mission. This requirement comprises specialist spacecraft platform engineering and system level design services including detailed mission trade off studies, finalisation of platform-payload interface definitions and refinement of key spacecraft subsystems.
